Aruba announces integration with Xinshangan IoT System to enable smooth integration of Wi-Fi and IoT

Recently, Aruba, a subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, announced a partnership with Guangdong Xinshangan IoT Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinshangan") to integrate Aruba Wireless with the Xinshangan IoT system, providing commercial customers with a complete commercial IoT solution including intelligent perception layer, network layer, platform layer, and application layer. This allows customers to expand a smarter IoT network on Aruba Wireless at any time and obtain a strategically consistent user experience.

The global LPWAN low-power technology is supporting the rapid development of IoT networks with incredible innovation. From shopping malls to manufacturing plants, from medical institutions to educational institutions, IT managers of various companies around the world are facing a long-standing challenge. They find that when this smart network composed of sensors has inevitably become larger and more complex, there will be an increasingly strong need to achieve a smoother combination of Wi-Fi high-speed networks and IoT networks to improve the overall network policy consistency, which includes not only transmission protocols, data policies, and security policies, but also management policies, middleware policies, and application policies.

Aruba's Wi-Fi technology has unique advantages in accessing IoT networks. Aruba's Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor and outdoor wireless access points (APs) already provide scalability for low-power IoT networks. They can provide consistent and reliable transmission capabilities and quality assurance with full-featured spatial location data and sensor data, and are very suitable for forming highly complementary, strongly correlated, and smoothly consistent network service capabilities with today's most cutting-edge IoT technology routes.

On this basis, Aruba and Xin Shang'an jointly launched an IoT solution that can easily achieve consistency between IoT networks and Aruba Wireless network management, security policies, and data platforms. This IoT solution uses innovative and world-leading IoT network transmission protocol conversion technology, and is designed for multi-protocol conversion Gateway devices used in conjunction with Aruba APs. It can seamlessly integrate major global standard IoT protocols into Aruba Wireless, including LoRaWAN, RFID, ZigBee, Sub-1G, etc., to achieve seamless and smooth integration of complex IoT networks to Wi-Fi networks. While using Aruba Wireless, customers can expand the IoT network in a very simple way at any time, and connect various sensors with the required transmission protocol, effectively saving costs, such as network cable costs, non-Ethernet feeder costs, and power supply line costs, etc., without destroying the decoration of already built houses.

IoT network vendors have always found it difficult to achieve high integration between products with Wi-Fi vendors while avoiding the expansion risks caused by forced connections using non-standard technologies. This will make it difficult for users to open up to new sensor technologies and transmission protocols when expanding their networks in the future. The solution jointly launched by Aruba and Xin Shang An achieves minimalist network integration while avoiding non-standard expansion risks. Xin Shang An's IoT products have passed the interoperability verification of the Aruba network and have demonstrated unprecedented, standardized demonstration value for Aruba's network to establish IoT ecological technologies and solutions for the future.

Xie Jianguo, General Manager of Aruba China, said: "With the development of IoT, IoT devices are increasing, and commercial users have a high demand for wireless connections for IoT. The IoT solution launched this time perfectly integrates the advantages of both parties, seamlessly combining Aruba's leading Wi-Fi technology with Xin Shangan IoT, ensuring the Wi-Fi connection quality of IoT devices and meeting the future business expansion needs of enterprises. In the future, Aruba will work with partners to keep up with market trends, launch more network solutions that meet user needs, and build a smart and connected world."

Xu Yangchun, CEO of Xin Shang An, said: "As a long-term partner of Aruba, Xin Shang An is committed to providing domestic users with the best quality network intelligence and edge controllable solutions and services, from data source collection, quality and security in data transmission, platform integration to eliminate islands and chimneys, to application-oriented algorithms and data output. The joint launch of IoT solutions with Aruba this time has expanded the application of Wi-Fi technology in IoT scenarios, achieved consistency in IoT and Wi-Fi network strategies, helped enterprises save construction and operation and maintenance costs, and helped enterprises seize opportunities and accelerate business development in the era of smart IoT."
