"Although people talk about artificial intelligence, they are inseparable from computing power, algorithms, and data, but for government users, they are more concerned about applications in real scenarios. All AI applications should focus on scenarios to be more vital." He pointed out that Jinghua Information's AI platform is not limited to supporting Jinghua's own products, but can also empower the applications of other friendly companies with AI, and quickly improve the intelligence level of existing applications.

Kunpeng Ecosystem’s “Circle of Friends” Advices Smart Office

The development of the new computing industry is of course inseparable from the support of the general software upstream and downstream partners. In this salon, the Innovation Center and Jinghua Information invited many partners to speak, and each speaker talked about how to accelerate the process of domestic autonomy and jointly build the Kunpeng ecosystem from his own perspective.

Li Zhenning, deputy general manager of Kylin Software Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech entitled "Kunpeng Spreads Wings, Kylin Soars into the Sky". He pointed out that China currently does not have a truly domestically developed operating system. Most companies are conducting relevant explorations based on foreign open source communities and open source codes. They are currently in a critical stage from integration to sublimation. In 2020, Kylin Software's contribution to OpenEuler has just risen to first in China and fourth in the world, while Huawei's contribution to Linux has risen to second in the world. These are all remarkable contributions made by China to open source. The OpenEuler community, which was launched on December 31, 2019, is an open technology community that is completely led and operated by developers themselves. Kylin Software maintains more than 200 code package projects in the entire OpenEuler community and participates in 17 code projects involving desktop, cloud native, and distributed storage. Kylin Software's contribution to OpenEuler is already second in the community, and Huawei ranks first.

Li Junhui, deputy general manager of Guangdong Region of Zhuhai Kingsoft Office Software Co., Ltd., shared the "Innovation Path of National Office Software" on the spot. He emphasized that resolute investment in independent innovation is the responsibility and responsibility of Kingsoft as a national software company. WPS will be committed to building a business card for China's independent innovation software. In the future, Kingsoft will work with Huawei to adhere to technology-based business and cooperate to build a new ecosystem.

Hua Shengwen, general manager of the Guangdong branch of Tianjin Shenzhou General Data Technology Co., Ltd., shared his experience on "Shentong Database Solutions Based on Independent Innovation Fields". He focused on introducing a database product called Shentong OPenGauss. After Huawei's Open Gauss was open sourced in June this year, Huawei cooperated with Tianjin Shentong to launch this large-scale general product version based on Open Gaus on the kernel basis, as a model of multiple storage hybrid architectures to support hybrid business scenarios. He revealed that Shentong modified 950,000 lines of the kernel and added about 700,000 lines of core code, focusing on architecture and transactions, storage engines, optimizers, and Kunpeng chip optimization. "The Shentong Gauss version is not equal to the enhanced version of PostgreSQL. It is a truly domestically produced, independently controllable product that solves the defects brought by the native architecture of PostgreSQL. It has been very well applied in the water conservancy industry."

Liu Zhijia, senior lecturer at Beijing Wanlihong Technology Co., Ltd., gave a speech entitled "Wanlihong Helps Smart and Safe Office". She revealed that Wanlihong's series of security products such as mobile storage media management system, sensitive information monitoring management system, software upgrade release platform system, etc. are now compatible with Huawei Kunpeng, providing reliable protection for information security applications, and have met the information needs of local party and government agencies very well, effectively ensuring application security.

Liu Jing, Dean of the South China Branch of iSoftStone University, gave an introduction to the "iSoftStone Kunpeng Industry Talent Training Capabilities". She said that iSoftStone can currently provide four types of Kunpeng capabilities, namely technical services, talent training, operation and maintenance management, and industry applications. Today, iSoftStone University has an annual talent supply capacity of more than 30,000, annual talent training of 41,000 people, and 74 ecological partners. The vigorous cultivation of talents has provided momentum for the subsequent development of the Kunpeng ecosystem.

Liu Longfei, director of Huawei Kunpeng Lingyun Project, gave a wonderful speech on "Kunpeng supports the creation of a new computing foundation". He said that the foundation of the intelligent era is still computing power, or more precisely, the foundation of diversified computing power of general computing power + AI computing power. Huawei has achieved R&D innovation in the fields of general computing, storage, transmission, management, and heterogeneous computing. Adhering to the principle of "open hardware and open software", Huawei has always provided partners with support such as Kunpeng motherboard, Kunpeng server, and OpenEuler open source with an open mind, with the aim of creating a prosperous ecosystem. Liu Longfei introduced that Huawei currently ranks first in the development of Openstack cascading technology features, and has released the industry's first bare metal container, which has improved container performance by more than 20%, ranking third in contribution. "Now Kunpeng is on the cloud. The Kunpeng Lingyun Project has more than 2,000 partners joining it, and nearly 2,000 solutions have passed the adaptation certification. It is still in a rapid development process." In the future, Huawei will continue to build a local ecological system based on the Guangzhou "Kunpeng + Ascend" Ecological Innovation Center and a complete ecological incubation mechanism.

At the last part of the salon, Liu Zhen and Li Siwei, vice presidents of Jinghua Information, invited Wang Yayu, director of the team engineering service department of China CESI Lab, Du Yinhui, general manager of Huawei Guangdong Computing Business Department, and Li Zhenning, vice president of Kylin Software, to the stage. Everyone pragmatically exchanged the problems and challenges faced in the construction of industry user information, as well as the experience in solving difficulties. Taking Kunpeng as an example, adaptation work is very important. The key to the migration, adaptation and final landing of user data and applications is delivery. There are too many uncertain factors in the whole process, and a lot of optimization work still needs to be done after migration. Similarly, in the work of independent innovation, the integration of products and innovation platforms, and the ecological construction of equipment will encounter the same problems faced by Kunpeng. However, everyone agreed that these difficulties and challenges are also the driving force for the improvement of the industry. After analyzing and solving these user needs, the overall capabilities of the industry can be improved one step further. Problems and opportunities coexist. Everyone shared their experience in the government office scenario on Kunpeng scenario solutions, and made suggestions for the new computing to enable government smart office, which undoubtedly laid a solid foundation for the vigorous development of Kunpeng ecology in the future.
