5G commercial key equipment development completed: ready for large-scale popularization

Samsung recently announced that its 5G RF integrated circuits for next-generation communication base stations and other access devices are ready for commercial use, which will be a milestone in the large-scale construction of 5G networks.

Samsung said it has been developing 5G RF integrated circuit products for the past three years. This new product can be used to design low-cost, high-efficiency and compact 5G devices.

Combined with Samsung’s high-gain/high-efficiency power amplifier released last year, the technology can reduce phase noise to achieve clearer signals in noisy environments.

According to the plan, Samsung will officially showcase 5G-related technical solutions at the MWC conference next month.
