Li Yue said that China Mobile's 4G has actually only been in operation for three years, from 2014, 2015, and 2016. In three years, it has built the world's largest 4G network and constructed more than 100,000 carrier-aggregated 4G base stations, becoming the world's 4G system with the fastest download speed in many hot spots. Its business experience has also promoted the automatic activation of VoLTE in more than 300 cities.

"Although we are only doing TD-LTE now, 4G international roaming has reached nearly 140 countries. By the end of this year, China Mobile's 4G roaming will be available wherever 4G is available in the world," Li Yue pointed out.

According to statistics, China Mobile's 4G user scale accounts for more than 30% of the global operators' 4G users, indicating that China has taken the shortest time to go through the 5-6 years of 4G development in Europe and the United States. The development of user scale benefits from the continuous enrichment of terminals. As of now, China Mobile has more than 2,000 4G terminals and more than 600 mobile phone brands. 4G has become the network most chosen by users. "93% of our mobile phones support VoLTE, and the sales volume of 4G terminals has reached a very high level. In 2016, the number of terminals sold through our system was close to 400 million. 4G has also created a miracle of very large user development," Li Yue proudly introduced.

Network capability: According to Li Yue, network capability is China Mobile's most outstanding capability. There is also a 4G base station of China Mobile on the world's largest Mount Everest. China Mobile will strive to make the network capability level higher and more intelligent, and strive to make this smart pipeline more and more intelligent, more and more user-friendly, and more and more cost-effective.

Channel capability: China Mobile's channel capability is reflected in two aspects. One is the visible and tangible business halls, electronic channels, etc., and the other is the invisible 860 million customer mobile phone channels. "How can these channel capabilities be integrated and transformed into a capability to serve the whole society? In fact, this is a huge potential. We call it a new channel."

Li Yue said that China Mobile has at least four major platforms that can be opened to the world for new channels. The first is a communication capability open platform, which builds various communication systems, including SMS, voice, location capabilities, etc., together to form a new platform. If all walks of life need it, they can use our open API to call these capabilities. "We tried this platform in Zhejiang, and in a short time, tens of thousands of customers used this platform. This platform has provided a very good boost to the development of the whole society. We hope to use this platform to jointly use communication capabilities as a tool to promote the development of all walks of life."

The second platform is the unified authentication platform. 860 million customers actually have 860 million phone numbers, and these 860 million phone numbers are the only authentication system. We have created an authentication system based on phone numbers. The advantage of this system is that you don’t need to enter a password or a username. As long as you click on an application, we will know who you are.

The third platform is a new platform for the Internet of Everything, the OenNET platform, or the Internet of Things open platform. Li Yue believes that in the next ten years, China will have 10 billion connections waiting to be connected, and China Mobile must launch this market in the next five years. Currently, the platform is said to have connected more than 5 million devices, gathered nearly 30,000 developers, and more than 10,000 applications have been created on this platform.

The first platform is the smart home gateway platform. "We hope that our gateway will be open to the world. We hope that any application around the home and smart home will not be subject to the barriers of various manufacturers' terminals and can become a result shared by all families in the whole society."
