Some people say that the business system is a very smart system, like a Rubik's Cube that can be changed according to needs and provide many services that make life more convenient. Among them, NGCSS is showing its prowess and becoming an increasingly important member.

Let me give you a complete self-introduction today.

Why is it called NGCSS?

That's because I am a business system that can be deployed on any cloud platform, composed of multiple components to complete specific tasks. Each of my components can run independently and can easily cope with the surge in load pressure through rapid expansion.

So, where do I stand in the communication network, N? And what can I do?

As one of the business systems built on the core network, I can provide mailbox services to users of wired networks, wireless networks (2G~5G) and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem).

In addition to traditional voicemail services, I can also provide multimedia (such as video and fax) mailbox services, and can send notifications, messages and fax contents to users in a timely manner via SMS, MMS, Email, outbound calls, and MWI (Message Waiting Indicator).


My Power

So, where do I exert these magical powers? Actually, since I was born, the place I am most familiar with is the calling field.

In the field of calling, many users have been troubled by the same problem: how to receive the information conveyed by new incoming calls in a timely manner at any time and any place without having to meet the receiving conditions.

Why do we need to receive the information from new calls in a timely manner? For example, two teams of emergency rescue personnel set out one after another along the scheduled route. Only some areas along the way have signal coverage. When the advance personnel find that the road ahead is blocked and turn back, how can they notify the backup personnel who are crossing the signal-free area to "switch to the front and rear teams and change the route to the rescue site" before meeting the backup personnel, and can the team also turn back and change the route to the rescue site in the shortest time?

At this time, my, student N’s, advantages were revealed.

When the support personnel pass through the area with no signal, the calls from the advance personnel will be automatically transferred to me, and I will record the notification content as a message. After completing the message, the advance personnel can continue their journey; when the support personnel enter the signal coverage area, I will notify the support personnel as soon as possible, and the advance personnel do not need to continue to contact them.

Message Receiving

Do you think I can only receive information from new incoming calls on behalf of the user when he is out of the service area?

Of course not. I can receive the information of new incoming calls on behalf of the user when the user is on a call, the phone is turned off, and the incoming call is not answered.

Moreover, the calls I can receive are no longer limited to voice calls. I can also receive fax and video calls. Of course, the processing of different calls is also different. Every time I receive a call, I will first identify its type and then process the call.


Push notifications

After receiving the information of a new incoming call for a user, I will immediately push the notification to him using the method specified by this user. So, what are the notification methods that users can choose?

However, not all notification methods may be available to all users.

My class teacher - the operator, limits the available notification methods through CoS (Class of Service) according to the different needs of each user group. Users can only open an account or close the notification methods limited by their CoS.

News Listening

In addition to directly listening to the content of the message received with the notification, users can also choose the most suitable one of the three ways I provide to listen to the message according to the scenario (such as time, place, and available devices).
