Recently, the net increase in 5G package users of China Unicom and China Telecom has set new records, with a net increase of 8.41 million and 7.989 million respectively in August, and a net increase of 24.537 million for China Mobile. According to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, domestic 5G mobile phone sales in August were 17.8 million units, and the cumulative sales of 5G mobile phones were about 345 million units; data disclosed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that as of August this year, the number of 5G connections exceeded 400 million, and it is estimated that about 60 million of them are users of industrial Internet, Internet of Things, etc.

Data released by the three major operators showed that as of August this year, China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom had 5G package users of 304 million, 147 million, and 129 million, respectively, with a total of about 580 million 5G package users.

According to the data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the gap between the cumulative sales of 5G mobile phones and the number of 5G package users is as high as 235 million; according to the data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the gap between the number of 5G package users and the number of operators' 5G package users is about 180 million, which means that the 5G package users with this part of the difference are all using 4G mobile phones or 4G terminals.
