On June 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the "2021 Work Plan of the Industrial Internet Transformation Working Group". The plan proposes that by December 2021, 3-5 5G fully connected factory demonstration benchmarks will be built to promote the formation of typical application scenarios.
The plan shows that in 2021, 90 specific measures including 15 major tasks will be completed, including network system strengthening action, identity resolution enhancement action, platform system expansion action, data aggregation empowerment action, new model education action, deepening integration and application action, key standard construction action, technical capability improvement action, and industrial coordinated development action. Among them, in terms of deepening the "5G+Industrial Internet", the plan proposes that: 1. Build 5G fully connected factories and accelerate the promotion of typical scenarios. Create 3-5 5G fully connected factory demonstration benchmarks to promote the formation of typical application scenarios. 2. Promote the application innovation of 5G in the field of industrial Internet. Release the 10 key industry fields and 20 typical application scenarios of "5G+Industrial Internet", and compile and release the "5G+Industrial Internet" development index. 3. Plan 5G industrial Internet dedicated frequencies and carry out industrial 5G private network pilots. Research and form a 5G industrial dedicated frequency planning plan. Coordinate and approve the use of 5G industrial dedicated network test frequencies upon application. Release the "Guidelines for the Use of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Frequencies" and carry out publicity and implementation work. 4. Build a public service platform to provide 5G network transformation, application incubation, testing and verification and other services. Complete the formulation of 3 draft 5G industry virtual private network group standards, complete the construction of the external service capability platform and carry out pre-testing. The development of the industrial Internet requires a network infrastructure with low latency, high reliability and wide coverage, and the characteristics of 5G just meet these requirements. The two complement each other and will help promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the development and growth of new industries. |
