IDC: China's network market grew 7.5% year-on-year in 2020, with growth in switches, routers, and WLAN

Recently, IDC released the "2020 Network Market Tracking Report", which showed that the global network market size in 2020 was US$49.01 billion, a decrease of 3% compared with the same period last year. Among them, the growth rates of switches, routers and WLAN markets were -3.5%, -4.0% and 1.9% respectively.

The report pointed out that the scale of China's network market was US$9.14 billion (about RMB 63 billion), an increase of 7.5% compared with the same period last year, among which the switch, router and WLAN markets increased by 12.3%, 3.3% and 3.1% respectively.

IT Home learned that IDC said that China's switch market grew by 12.3% year-on-year, the router market grew by 3.3% year-on-year, and the WLAN market grew by 3.1% year-on-year.

Among them, mainstream manufacturers have increased their R&D and promotion efforts on Wi-Fi 6, enabling it to make greater progress in chip cost control, product richness, solution maturity and user acceptance, and the Wi-Fi 6 market share has further increased.
