China Mobile: Ready for 5G commercial use, new packages to be released in October

At the China Mobile 5G+ Innovation and Cooperation Conference held recently, Xu Ximing, deputy general manager of China Mobile's Marketing and Operations Department, said that China Mobile has made preparations for 5G commercial use and will officially release 5G packages in October. Customers using 5G terminals will enjoy the "three no's and one fast" service, that is, no need to change cards, no need to change numbers, no need to register, and can quickly log in to the 5G network through multiple channels.

Xu Ximing introduced that currently, 6 5G mobile phones and 3 CPE 5G terminals have been launched in China, and it is expected that by the end of this year, there will be 17 5G terminals on the market, involving 8 major brands. Next year, 5G "thousand-yuan phones" will appear, accelerating the popularization of 5G terminals.

In addition, in order to allow customers to better experience and feel 5G services, China Mobile has created an online 5G service aggregation experience zone and more than 120 offline 5G experience halls in 85 cities.
