Between October last year and January this year, Speedtest conducted 5G network speed tests across Hong Kong using an iPhone 12. The results showed that CMHK's 5G network uploaded data at a speed of 32.54Mbps and downloaded data at a speed of 211.53Mbps, nearly twice as fast as the other three telecom operators.

The data shows that CSL's 5G network has an upload data speed of 21.52Mbps and a download speed of 137.7Mbps. 3 Hong Kong's 5G network has a download data speed of 22.88Mbps and 128.78Mbps respectively, while SmarTone's upload data speed is 18.82Mbps and download speed is 102.07Mbps.

The report pointed out that CMHK is one of the operators with the largest amount of 5G spectrum, and is the only operator to obtain 3.3GHz and 3.5GHz continuous bandwidth spectrum.
