Alibaba previously launched the internal beta of Teambition cloud disk, and recently, the much-anticipated Alibaba Teambition cloud disk mobile version was officially launched.

Although it has been officially launched, the network disk function still uses invitation registration. Fortunately, the editor has applied for testing qualifications a few months ago and now I have finally received the invitation code. Teambition is more than just a network disk

When you receive the invitation code, there will be a download link for the Teambition mobile client. After the download and installation is complete, don't think you downloaded the wrong one.

Teambition is actually a work-study suite that comes with practical tools such as project management, to-do list, network disk, calendar, notebook, etc. Yes, network disk is just a small function of Teambition.

Teambition currently has a web version and a mobile client version. You can access it by visiting "https://www.teambition.com/" with your browser, and you can directly access the network disk by visiting "pan.teambition.com".

The Chrome browser is recommended. When the editor tested the IE browser, he was unable to log in.

How is the much-anticipated Teambition?

Teambition has many functions, let's first focus on the much-anticipated Teambition network disk function. However, if you click to enter the Teambition network disk function, you can see that it is still not fully open and can only be entered by invitation code.

Teambition network disk experience upload

First, let’s take a look at the upload capabilities of Teambition’s cloud disk. In the Android client, Teambition’s cloud disk currently only allows uploading of image format files, and the editor does not know why it is set this way.

However, in the Teambition web version, you can upload all file types. In the Teambition web version, users can not only select multiple files to upload, but also directly select folders to upload.

In terms of upload speed, the editor's China Telecom 100M broadband should normally be 5MB/s, but recently for some reason the upload speed can only reach about 3MB/s.

After testing several files, I found that Teambition network disk can basically meet the upload bandwidth of my broadband environment.

In terms of download speed, Teambition cloud disk currently has no speed limit, so during the test it can basically run at the full download bandwidth of the editor, and the good news is that users can call download software to download, such as Thunder.

So what about some other basic functions of Teambition cloud disk? First of all, the mobile version supports online viewing of pictures and videos, and the online video playback is smooth, but the online video player of Teambition is simple, with only play, pause, volume adjustment and full-screen playback function buttons, and some videos cannot be played normally. (The video can be played normally in the web version of Teambition)

For document types, except for PDF which can be opened directly in the Teambition mobile client, all others need to be downloaded back to the local computer before being opened.

However, in the Teambition web version, you can open Office series documents directly online (calling Microsoft Online Office). The strange thing is that the most common TXT documents still cannot be opened directly.

As for file operations, the network disk storage file and folder operations support renaming, moving, copying, downloading, deleting, and discussing operations.

The file sharing feature that everyone wants is currently in an "upgraded" state, whether it is the mobile client or the web version. Here is the official explanation:

As you can see, "Sharing" may be temporarily closed for a period of time. The reason is that we regretfully discovered that during the internal testing period, some users used Teambition network disk to share illegal files.

Although it did not cause a serious impact, it sounded the alarm. For the healthy and long-term development of the cloud disk, and to avoid the improper behavior of individual users affecting the normal use of other users in the future, we must solve this problem thoroughly, so we decided to suspend the sharing function and immediately upgrade the security capabilities.

Well, it was ruined by netizens not long after it came out.

Before the new mode is launched, let's take a look at the previous sharing mode. When a user shares a file, Teambition will directly generate a sharing link and QR code. Unlike a disk, this is a single unique link, and no extraction code is required when clicking to enter. Once the user cancels the sharing, the link will become invalid immediately.

Introduction to other features of Teambition

Let's take a look at Teambition's other features. In addition to the network disk, Teambition also provides users with several tools to speed up work and study efficiency.

※ To-do tool: This tool focuses on personal and work schedules and time planning, making your day focused, efficient and well-organized. On the To-do page, users can create to-do items, add task participants and executors, and the comments and dynamics functions in the task will be fully presented.

Project Tool: This tool is used to store tasks and help companies manage goals, workflows, deadlines and documents.

Users can create projects based on the goals they need to accomplish and invite team members to join in the work to achieve the goals together.

Users can use "projects" to manage various scenarios in actual work, which may be: the planning and execution of an event, the preparation for the opening of a new store, the implementation and delivery of a system, the daily work of a department, a family trip, planning a wedding, etc.

As long as there are multiple people or even a group of people who need to accomplish a common goal, they can create a project to manage it. Coordination and collaboration are that simple.

The document function in the project tool allows users to create documents online and collaborate with project members to edit them. Documents support the insertion of attachments, tasks, mind maps, schedules, and other information.

There is also a file function hidden in the project tool, which is also a very useful network disk. Users can store files here and consult them with project members. The upper limit of the size of a single uploaded file here is 1GB, and the initial total capacity of the account is 200G per user.

Kanban tool: Teambition also provides users with a "Kanban" tool, which can be regarded as a powerful tool for unified viewing of the overall situation. It presents the key stages of the project, allowing users to see who is doing what and when at any time, so that team members no longer have to spend time on collaborative work progress. Even better, users can break departmental boundaries, and cross-departmental collaboration is no longer a problem based on project portfolio members.

Global search: Teambition has a global search tool that allows users to search from categories such as tasks, projects, members, files, folders, schedules, and to-dos. Each type has specific filtering conditions. Users can filter data according to actual needs, so as to locate relevant information more accurately in huge data.

Teambition is still in its development stage, and some functions are not yet perfect. In addition to the advantage of uploading and downloading speed, the other functions of the network disk are still rudimentary. Overall, making good use of Teambition can make your work more efficient and your life more organized.

Teambition is currently free and there is no limit on the number of people who can collaborate in a team. If you need it, you can go and experience it.

In addition, Alibaba also has an "Ali Cloud Disk", which is currently in testing and also requires an invitation code to log in. I think this is an independent network disk tool (I will introduce it separately in the next article), and Teambition network disk is just an additional function for users of Teambition to store files, and it does not directly compete with the current network disk.
