On August 20, 2020, the Maker Beijing 2020 Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition will usher in an exciting moment. In the highly anticipated expert review session, the organizer will invite the shortlisted contestants to participate in the final of the competition on site. The expert review panel will select from multiple dimensions such as solution innovation, technological leadership, business prospects, and social value, and finally select outstanding works. The selection results will be officially released on August 24.

Since the launch of the competition on July 2, this competition, which was guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, hosted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, and Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee, and undertaken by Beijing Small and Medium Enterprises Service Center, Beijing Small and Medium Enterprises Public Service Platform, Beijing Venture Capital Innovation Service Alliance, Beijing Kunpeng Joint Innovation Center, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Beijing Fengtai District Development Investment Co., Ltd., has aroused great attention in Beijing. It lasted 45 days, with 513 contestants participating and 144 works submitted. The battle is about to begin!

Maker Beijing 2020 · Kunpeng Application Innovation Special Competition has set up five major competition topics, namely "Kunpeng Ecosystem: Enabling the Financial Industry", "Kunpeng Ecosystem: Enabling Digital Government", "ARM Native Innovation Application", "Big Data Innovation Solution", and "Open Proposition". The expert review panel adheres to the principle of fairness and justice and will select five teams for the first prize, second prize, and third prize in these five major competition topics. Among them, each first prize team will be awarded 50,000 yuan in cash and a Huawei terminal gift package worth 12,500 yuan, each second prize team will be awarded 30,000 yuan in cash + a Huawei terminal gift package worth 7,500 yuan, and each third prize team will be awarded 30,000 yuan in cash. 15 encouragement awards will be added, each team will be awarded 10,000 yuan in cash, and the total incentive for the competition awards will be as high as 800,000 yuan.

The expert review panel will select one team with the highest technical value, application value, and commercial landing value from the five first-prize teams and give it an additional special reward.
