Kunpeng spreads its wings and Zhejiang has great potential | Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition 2020 (Zhejiang Division) briefing session is recruiting heroes!

At 14:30 on July 31, 2020, the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition 2020 (Zhejiang Division) briefing session will be held at the Kunpeng Ecosystem Innovation Center of Zhejiang Province. Contestants who have registered for the competition, or developers who are interested in the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition 2020 and want to learn more about it, can learn more about the Kunpeng ecosystem and the competition at this briefing session.

In order to implement the strategic deployment of the Zhejiang Provincial Government for the development of the Kunpeng industry, promote the construction of the Kunpeng software ecosystem in the province, help the rapid development of Zhejiang's digital economy, and improve the quality of talent training in colleges and universities, the 2020 Zhejiang Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition was officially launched on July 1. The competition is guided by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, hosted by the Zhejiang Digital Economy Development Center, Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang) Management Committee, the government, the Ningbo National High-tech Zone Management Committee, the Zhejiang Kunpeng Ecological Innovation Center, and the Ningbo Kunpeng Computing Ecological Innovation Center, and co-organized by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Donghua Electronic Information Industry (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., the Zhejiang Kunpeng Computing Industry Alliance, and the Zhejiang Internet of Things Industry Association.

It must be pointed out that since the competition aims to cultivate the R&D capabilities of software adaptation, migration, software development, solution incubation, etc. based on the Kunpeng ecosystem required for the development of the Kunpeng industry, participating teams need to build products and solutions based on Kunpeng computing technology. In other words, the contestants need to create software and hardware solutions for different scenarios based on Huawei Cloud Kunpeng cloud services, Kunpeng motherboards, Kunpeng servers and other products.

This competition focuses on corporate practitioners, college teachers and students in Zhejiang Province's ICT industry. There are five competition topics: "Finance", "Government", "Big Data", "ARM Native Application" and "Open Topic". Participating teams can choose one of them to participate in the competition. After selection, the first place in each topic of this competition will be selected to participate in the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition 2020 National Finals to show a higher level of work competition.

In order to encourage more people to participate in the event, the total amount of award incentives for this event is as high as 700,000 yuan. Taking the first prize as an example, the five major topics will each select a best work, and finally produce 5 first prizes, then each winning team can get a cash reward of 50,000 yuan. Similarly, the second prize will select 10 teams, each of which will be awarded 20,000 yuan, and the third prize will produce 15 teams, each of which will be awarded 10,000 yuan in cash. In addition, 15 outstanding individual awards will be selected, each of which will be awarded a Huawei P40 Pro mobile phone worth 5,988 yuan.

Since the competition was officially launched, it has received a warm response from the ICT industry. However, as the deadline for submission of works on August 15 approaches, many people have expressed their hope to receive more professional guidance from the organizers so as to polish out better works.
