To accelerate the pace of digital transformation, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will issue three major policies

Xie Shaofeng, spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Information Technology Development Department, said that in order to further consolidate these innovative achievements, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will formulate and introduce digital transformation policies for relevant industries, accelerate the pace of digital transformation, and inject new impetus into economic development.

First, we will increase the construction of new digital infrastructure and give full play to the leading role of new infrastructure such as 5G, data centers, and industrial Internet.

The second is to strengthen the system layout, organize and implement the action plan for the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, formulate and promote key and urgently needed standards for the development and application of new-generation information technology, encourage enterprises to move to and use cloud computing, comprehensively deepen the digital application of R&D, production, operation, management, and service, cultivate data-driven enterprises, and encourage enterprises to accelerate organizational change and business innovation through digital transformation.

Third, we will continue to build a systematic and multi-level industrial Internet platform system, develop new models such as platform-based digital management, intelligent production, networked collaboration, personalized customization, and service extension, cultivate new business forms such as industrial e-commerce, sharing economy, platform economy, and industrial chain finance, create a "cloud" industrial chain, promote the integrated development of large, medium, small and micro enterprises, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the entire industry.
