On December 3, the highly anticipated 2019 Microsoft Internet of Things Conference (IoT In Action) officially kicked off in Shenzhen. Nano-IoT adopts a fanless design, can work stably in an environment up to 50°C, and can maintain 7*24 hours of operation under harsh conditions such as vibration and impact. In terms of flexibility, Nano-IOT has an ultra-small volume of 0.5L and strong scalability. It can add more interfaces through I/O expansion modules and support 4G/LIE functions, which is enough to meet the growing demand for smart device access in application scenarios such as manufacturing, retail, smart buildings, and smart education. In addition, Nano-IOT is also fully equipped in terms of intelligent software. It not only supports Win10 IoT Enterprise, but also has obtained Azure IoT and Ubuntu certification, laying the foundation for expanding software application innovation in different industries.

At the same time, Lenovo's ECE series of embedded computing devices, the ARM-based P710A in the ECG series of smart gateways, and the SFR-101HX facial recognition solution based on WeChat Pay were also unveiled at the conference. By providing customers with end-to-end solutions with devices + platforms + applications as the core, it realizes innovation in digital business scenarios in different industries and helps the digital transformation of many industries.

In practice, Lenovo's outstanding performance in intelligent IoT has also been recognized by the market. Not only did it achieve an 858% year-on-year growth in intelligent IoT devices and solutions in the second quarter of fiscal year 2019, but it has also been successfully implemented in more than 30 industries including manufacturing, education, retail, transportation, and medical care. At the Great Wall Station of the Antarctic Polar Research Center, Lenovo built a "smart scientific expedition" working environment for the scientific expedition team members in Antarctica with the IoT ecological layout and intelligent device management; in the energy field, Lenovo effectively improved the performance and efficiency of the computer management and control system of Sinopec gas stations through ECI industrial computing equipment; at Everbright Bank, Lenovo tailored the first new type of outlet "Ban Ke Yi" with a supermarket form; in smart retail, Lenovo effectively combined facial recognition with intelligent settlement to launch a new species of "unmanned supermarket".
