DC9 (CN2 GIA) simple test

Last September, I followed the trend and bought a VPS with a special offer of $46.59/year from Bandwagonhost (reviewing the information at that time). I wrote two reviews, including the default DC6 (CN2 GIA) when placing an order and the migration to Osaka, Japan (Softbank). It has been idle ever since. Fortunately, the merchant has a special offer for DC9, which has a higher configuration and a lower price than the one I bought at that time. However, DC9 is fixed and cannot be migrated, so I migrated my VPS to DC9 and did a test for your reference.

I have an old package, equipped with a single-core CPU, 512MB of memory, a 10GB SSD disk, and 500GB of monthly traffic. I installed the CentOS7.9 operating system, and the IP segment 67.230.179.* was assigned after migration.

Latency Test

Ping delay was tested on some nodes in mainland China and North America. Compared with US VPS, DC9 is at the upper level in China, and my local telecom ping is also very low.

In general, BandwagonHost is one of the few businesses that provide CN2 GIA with large bandwidth. Whether it is DC6 or DC9, the bandwidth starts at 1Gbps. The only drawback of this $35.42/year package is that you cannot migrate and change nodes by yourself. However, it is also a good choice if you want to use Los Angeles CN2 GIA with peace of mind, and the price is much cheaper than those that can be migrated.
