Tencent Cloud Lightweight Cloud Server Existing Users Free Upgrade, No Price Increase for Additional Usage

Tencent Cloud, a major domestic cloud server manufacturer, has launched a free configuration upgrade event for old users. From January 26, 2021 to February 22, 2021, eligible old users of lightweight cloud servers can upgrade their configurations for free. Compared with the original configuration, the memory, hard disk and bandwidth traffic have been greatly upgraded without additional fees, and the renewal price will not change. This upgrade involves all lightweight packages in mainland China and some overseas packages. Users who have lightweight cloud servers can go and have a look.

The above figure has listed the comparison of each configuration before and after the upgrade. For example, 1C1G20G+3M200GB is upgraded to 1C1G40G+3M300GB, which upgrades the hard disk and traffic. Higher configuration packages upgrade more.

Target audience:
1. Users whose actual consumption of lightweight application servers is over RMB 200;
2. Users who have completed the hidden activity of Tencent Cloud Server Official Account.

Activity Rules:
1. Eligible instances have only one chance to upgrade for free. Please refer to the upgrade comparison table for details.
2. The upgrade process of the lightweight application server can only be applied for by the main account, and the collaborator does not have the application permission;
3. Different packages of lightweight application servers have different peak bandwidths. Please pay attention to the product description before upgrading;
4. The renewal price after the upgrade is the same as the renewal price before the upgrade. The "Cloud + Campus" activity instance will no longer enjoy the campus renewal price after the upgrade;
5. The lightweight application servers that are upgraded through this activity do not support downgrading;
6. The lightweight application server firewall can only control the incoming traffic of the instance. By default, all outgoing traffic requests are allowed. You can create, view, update, and delete firewalls and firewall rules through the console. For details, see the firewall operation guide.
7. To ensure the fairness of the event, Tencent Cloud has the right to reclaim cloud resources from users who maliciously grab event resources ("malicious" refers to abnormal registration of accounts to obtain resources, etc., which undermines the fairness of the event, such as through programs and other technical means), or users who leave resources idle for a long time and use resources to engage in illegal and irregular activities;
8. The specific activity rules are subject to the content published on the activity page. Tencent Cloud can adjust the activity rules based on actual conditions and they will take effect immediately, but this will not affect the benefits that users have obtained before the adjustment. Before participating in this activity, you should carefully read and understand the activity description and the specific rules on the activity page (collectively referred to as "Activity Rules").
