Therefore, the school put forward clear expected requirements: business expansion will not be affected within ten years, the network will be stable and easy to maintain, and the level of campus information management will always be at the forefront. "One network" that will not affect business expansion in the next ten yearsWith the deep integration of information technology and teaching services, the demand for campus networks is also growing. The school expects that in the next ten years, no matter how teaching equipment is updated, how information points are expanded, how rich media traffic, data transmission, Wi- Fi , AR/VR and other services are enriched... the campus network can be easily expanded and respond, and always maintain efficient and stable operation. In the expansion area (East District), the simplified Ethernet all-optical 3.0 solution is adopted. The overall network architecture adopts a large two-layer flat deployment. The backbone network uses 40G dual links to connect the campus to the large aggregation, and the core switch of the campus network is connected through dual 100G uplink. 1:1 Ethernet all-optical is introduced into the room. Each classroom is equipped with a wired/wireless integrated multimedia box and an 8-port 10G indoor optical switch, which respectively carry multimedia equipment IoT and classroom wired and wireless networks, which can not only meet the flexible expansion of the network, but also realize the classroom's exclusive 10G fiber performance. At the same time, the school renovated the original area (West District): Gigabit downstream and 10 Gigabit upstream optical switches were used indoors, connected to the optical aggregation switch through a 10G fiber optic link; 4/8/16-port switches were used in classrooms and offices as needed, supporting PoE+ power supply to meet 10G to the core and Gigabit to the desktop network access requirements. A “network” for climate-adaptive security and stabilityGuizhou University of Finance and Economics is located in the eastern part of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and is greatly affected by the subtropical monsoon humid climate , which places higher requirements on the moisture-proof and waterproof performance of network equipment . The power supply and voltage of the weak current wells in the west area of the school are unstable, and some weak current wells are prone to accidental power outages during thunderstorms, causing varying degrees of damage to equipment and causing great trouble to the school's network operation and maintenance team . Ruijie Networks optimized the network architecture for the school to address these issues : deploying higher-performance core switches and high-performance wavelength division convergence equipment in the central computer room ; deploying passive transparent convergence equipment in the weak current well on the side of the building; and deploying indoor optical switches in the rooms. The school's new network is truly active where there are people and passive where there are no people, reducing physical failure points and reducing maintenance difficulties. In addition, the entire solution uses high-performance network equipment, especially strengthening moisture-proof, waterproof, lightning-proof and electromagnetic interference-proof performance to ensure the stability and security of the network system . Due to the large campus area (nearly 6,000 acres) , the number of teachers and students is large, but the number of operation and maintenance personnel is relatively tight. Daily network equipment maintenance, fiber link fault handling and other tasks occupy a lot of the operation and maintenance personnel's energy, making it difficult for them to devote more energy to higher-value work. The upgraded campus network uses the school's existing SDN management platform to configure and distribute the indoor optical switches for centralized management, realize the visual control and management of service subnet convergence and mutual access, and conduct intelligent and precise network access control of network terminals , which greatly simplifies the operation and maintenance process and improves work efficiency. Nowadays, smart, efficient and stable campus networks have become an important support for school teaching and scientific research.
