NetEngine series intelligent routers help enterprises build safe and reliable production networks

[Shenzhen, China, November 8, 2022] At the "Huawei Connect 2022" China Station, the 10G mining intrinsically safe router NetEngine A831 E and the intelligent cloud terminal router NetEngine A822 E, which was born for enterprises to migrate to the cloud, were released. Based on the IPv6+ innovation system, they will accelerate the digital transformation of the industry and help enterprises build a safe and reliable production network.

As the digitalization process of enterprises accelerates, thousands of industries are competing to move to the cloud. The network connects enterprises and cloud resources. How to move to the cloud faster and better puts higher requirements on the bandwidth, reliability and security of the wide area network. The new generation of wide area networks must have three characteristics: secure isolation, agile cloud migration and intelligent operation and maintenance.

To this end, Huawei has launched two new smart routers, NetEngine A831 E and NetEngine A822 E series, which have the following technical advantages:

One fiber for multiple uses: multiple services accessed by one box, slice bandwidth can be adjusted flexibly

One-hop access to the cloud: services access the cloud in minutes, differentiated experience

Experience perception: application-level experience perception, service quality is visible and

Plug and Play: One-time entry, hardware installation and activation, automatic service launch

10G Intrinsically Safe Mining Router

NetEngine A831 E is a new 10G mining intrinsically safe router for smart mines. It is 1U high and 220mm deep, with small size and large capacity, supporting port capacity up to 41Gbps. It supports 10GE, GE and FE interfaces, and is flexible to adapt to different services. It has natural heat dissipation and uses dynamic energy-saving technology to control the power consumption of the entire board to meet the technical requirements of intrinsic safety.

Smart Cloud Terminal Router

NetEngine A822 E is a new intelligent cloud terminal router for government and enterprise customers. It is 1U high and 220mm deep, with 10GE interface slicing capability to ensure smooth video conferencing. It is easy to deploy, easy to operate and maintain, and has low power consumption. It can be centrally managed through Huawei's controller iMaster NCE. It also supports IPv6+ features such as slicing and SRv6, meeting the needs of enterprises for fast and high-quality cloud migration.

Easy to use the cloud, good cloud, Huawei's enterprise cloud NetEngine A800 E integrated service access router is widely used in network edge access scenarios for enterprises to use multiple services in the cloud, such as digital government affairs, smart education, smart medical care, smart factories, and smart mines. Looking to the future, Huawei's wide area routers will continue to innovate, build IPv6+ intelligent wide area networks, and help thousands of industries transform digitally.
