Director Liu Yanting of the Information Center of Beijing Tongren Hospital shared the experience and thoughts of Tongren Hospital in the application of cloud desktop. Director Liu introduced that in 2020, the second phase expansion project of the South District of Tongren Hospital was a key project promoted by the municipal government and was planned to be put into use in October 2020. The two solutions were tested in the three aspects of "software, peripherals, and operation and maintenance", and finally concluded that IDV was the winner.

Director Liu Yanting believes that "VDI and IDV each have their own advantages. VDI has certain advantages in mobile office, data storage, and dynamic adjustment, but IDV has more distinct characteristics in offline operation, performance, and peripheral compatibility , and can better meet the hospital's intranet office needs."

Based on the test results, Tongren Hospital conducted a small-scale deployment test and found that the remote management function of the cloud desktop is very useful for the fever clinic. If a terminal failure occurs in the fever clinic, on-site maintenance will not only become a high-risk job, but also consume the hospital's protective clothing materials. IDV, which supports remote operation and maintenance, avoids these problems.

After the successful practice of small-scale deployment, the hospital decided to purchase more than 1,000 IDV cloud desktop terminals at one time. Director Liu said that the cloud desktop solution achieved rapid business deployment, ensuring the opening of the second phase on schedule, and beating the business launch time .
