Host Configuration

The machine purchased was $49/month, configured with E3-1230v3 CPU, 16GB memory, 480GB SSD hard drive, 10M bandwidth port, and the installed operating system was the pure version of CentOS Stream 9, without any acceleration tools installed.

Basic Tests

BGPTO provides users with basic product management functions in the member center, such as reinstalling the system, so it is convenient for testing. You can just reinstall it after all the trouble. The reinstallation is also very fast, and it only takes a little longer than the VPS host.

IO/Bandwidth Test

The following is the bench.sh one-click package we often use. Although the merchant marks it as 10M bandwidth, the actual upstream bandwidth is close to 20M and the downstream bandwidth is around 100M.

Below are the test results of three domestic networks. Similar to the above results, the bandwidth definitely reaches the package quota.

Outbound routing test

First is telecommunications, CN2 GIA network.

Next is mobile, direct-connect bandwidth.

Unicom passes through more nodes, but the delay is also around 100ms.

Backhaul routing test

First we test it with the KOS toolbox, and then paste the one-click test information.

Most of the backhaul telecommunications lines are CN2, China Mobile CMI, and China Unicom 169. The following are the routing test results for some areas.

Latency Test

Through IPIP.NET testing of 444 nodes in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Asia, the latency is generally good for a US VPS, with an average latency of 86ms, which is sufficient, and the price of $49 is still good.
