5G in the eyes of Americans

In the eyes of many Chinese people, 5G technology means faster transmission, faster download speed, smoother gaming, and the interconnection of all things. Last year's Spring Festival Gala used 5G technology to perform a dozen robots dancing, which was a wonderful show and a great story. Many Chinese people are still focusing on the efficiency, speed and convenience brought by the transition from 4G to 5G. What do Americans think?

On April 3 last year, a report analysis from the US Department of Defense's 5G Ecosystem Research System pointed out that the transition from 4G to 5G will greatly affect the future of global communication networks and fundamentally change the operating environment of the US Department of Defense.

Americans believe that the real potential of 5G is its impact on future war networks, which are becoming increasingly ubiquitous and include a large number of cheaper, more connected and more resilient systems to play an important role in the ever-changing and rapidly developing wars.

China's 5G strategy should be viewed from the perspective of the Communist Party of China's grand strategy, and is an important part of the Chinese Dream and Made in China 2025 roadmap. 5G has the potential to transform China from a capital- and labor-intensive manufacturing economy to an innovation-oriented economy.

The Washington Post commented that the most difficult problem Trump faces is how to prevent China's Huawei and ZTE from dominating the global digital infrastructure. From a national security perspective, the importance of controlling the digital infrastructure today is no less than the creation of the first atomic bomb.

Two years ago, a Chinese leader gave President Putin an unmanned boat produced by a private enterprise in Zhuhai as a gift. Putin took the unmanned boat and asked, how many missiles can it carry?

Just this one sentence, said by an entrepreneur in Zhuhai, is really a wake-up call. Chinese entrepreneurs are not lacking in intelligence and fighting spirit, but they often lack forward-looking thinking and strategic vision, just like cataracts in the elderly, which often block their vision and make them unable to see clearly or far. Putin immediately pointed out that being able to hang a few missiles, linking unmanned boats with modern warfare, and linking them with changing the style of war, is the thinking and vision of Westerners.

Afterwards, the Zhuhai company transformed itself and developed and produced missiles based on how many missiles it could carry. Now it has realized unmanned boat anti-submarine warfare, and the next step will be to realize unmanned boat siege aircraft carriers. The era of intelligent, information-based, and robot warfare is coming, and the form of warfare has changed subversively.

5G technology will completely change the war mode and become the "brake" for winning in the future battlefield. This technology is the first time that the Chinese have taken the lead in the world's technological field since 1840. The Chinese have torn a breakthrough in the thick technological wall of the West, which deeply hurts the nerves of the Americans. The hegemony has been unprecedentedly challenged and threatened. If it is allowed to continue to lead, it may lose the hegemony of the United States, which is something American politicians do not want to see. The only way is to suppress and block Huawei's 5G technology at all costs and by all means. This is the logic and real purpose of American hegemony!
