The three major operators announced their operating data for October: the number of 5G package users exceeded 200 million

On November 23, the three major domestic operators recently announced the communication operation data for October 2020. Among them, in terms of 5G business, China Mobile's total users reached 128.793 million, and China Telecom's total 5G package users reached 71.86 million; China Unicom did not announce the number of 5G package users.

Data shows that in October 2020, in terms of 4G business, China Mobile's 4G user base increased by 4.269 million, reaching a total of 773.784 million; China Unicom's 4G user base increased by 2.128 million, reaching a total of 269 million.

In terms of broadband business, China Mobile added 2.895 million broadband users, totaling 207.108 million; China Telecom added 1.02 million broadband users, totaling 157.77 million; China Unicom added 523,000 broadband users, totaling 87.081 million.

2020 is the year of full commercialization of 5G, and the development of 5G users of the three operators has naturally received special attention. In October 2020, the number of China Mobile's 5G package customers increased by 15.201 million, reaching a total of 128.793 million; China Telecom's 5G package users increased by 7.06 million, and the total number of 5G package users reached 71.86 million.

At present, the 5G era is accelerating towards us. According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as of the end of September 2020, a total of 690,000 base stations have been opened across the country. It is certain that as the 5G network becomes more popular, 5G terminals will also become more abundant.
