At the meeting, Xu Yingtong, President of Ascend Computing Business, gave a very comprehensive introduction to Huawei's latest industry-leading Ascend AI full-stack software platform, including heterogeneous computing architecture CANN 3.0, full-process development tool chain MindStudio and Ascend application enablement MindX, covering basic software to application enablement. Xu Yingtong said that these development tools provided by Huawei have truly refreshed the new benchmark of "ease of use". For example, CANN 3.0 only needs one set of application code to be compatible with 10+ device forms and 14+ operating systems, and MindStudio allows developers to "move in with their bags", from operator development, model training, model reasoning, to application development, application deployment full process operation. Xu Yingtong said that Huawei is committed to building a basic software and hardware platform with software and hardware as the core, hoping to support the healthy and sustainable development of China's AI industry through this platform.

In his speech, Xu Yingtong said that AI is the key to future technological competition and the commanding heights that all countries are competing for. More than 50 countries in the world have released AI-related strategies, and my country's biggest advantage in the field of AI is talent. More than 100 domestic universities have opened Huawei's AI courses, trained a large number of developers, and can continuously supply talents to enterprises and research institutions. Xu Yingtong also emphasized that Huawei regards developers as the most valuable resources and partners. Developers are the future. We hope to work with developers to contribute to the construction of the Ascend ecosystem and to the development of China's AI industry.

Liu Xin, Director of Huawei Ascend Ecosystem Development Department, delivered a keynote speech titled "Ascend Wanli, Create a New Era of AI with Developers", sharing with everyone Huawei's achievements in the field of AI and Huawei's deep accumulation of AI-related technologies. Liu Xin said that Huawei will soon launch industry-oriented SDKs, hoping to lower the threshold for developers to use Ascend through these industry kits so as to develop more industry applications. At the same time, Huawei has also built a resource download center, an empowerment center, and a support center to fully support developers' learning and growth. Liu Xin emphasized that the success of the Ascend industry is inseparable from the orderly development of the developer ecosystem. Huawei Ascend will build the industry's strongest AI computing power platform to enable the intelligent transformation of thousands of industries.

Cheng Qian, senior engineer of Pengcheng Lab, gave a detailed introduction to AtlasServerlessSDK, the "Developer Cloud" of Pengcheng Ecosystem. The introduction mentioned that in order to allow more users to experience the functions of domestic processors, Pengcheng Lab and Beijing Jide jointly developed a deep learning software stack and AtlasServerlessSDK based on Huawei Atlas300, providing developers with a deep learning development environment so that they can carry out AI work more effectively.

Yuntianlifei expert Zhong Bin shared the development practices based on Huawei Atlas, allowing everyone to deeply understand the core value of Atlas for the overall solution. It can build a commercial-grade and technology-closed-loop secure and trusted technology ecosystem, implement a video structured high-density computing solution with balanced encoding, decoding and inference computing power, and create a balanced supply chain.

Liu Tong, an expert on AI technology at Huawei Ascend, introduced Atlas service migration and optimization, helping everyone understand the four stages of migrating AI reasoning services to Atlas. As an important part of Huawei's full-stack AI solution, Atlas has launched training products this year based on reasoning products, presenting a complete AI solution to the industry and pushing AI to a new level.

Xie Qian, a technical expert at Huawei, gave a detailed explanation of the ACL architecture industry demo - static face recognition. The registration and retrieval process of the static face recognition demo shares a set of models and algorithms. The image reading, image decoding, face detection and positioning, face alignment, face feature extraction and face registration, and face retrieval modules are blocked through queues to form a pipeline to process the face data in the image in sequence. It has a wide range of applications in finance, social governance, the Internet and other fields.

Liu Yedong, an open source engineer at MindSpore, introduced the full-scenario AI framework MindSpore in an easy-to-understand manner. MindSpore is developer-friendly, efficient, and flexible to deploy. It is now fully open source and can help developers build competitive AI solutions. In addition, MindSpore users have gradually reached the world, and various indicators such as new media videos and live broadcasts have grown at an average monthly rate of more than 20%.

After the keynote speech, the developers who participated in the on-site salon also visited the Ascend exhibition hall and had face-to-face communication with Huawei's technical experts. In addition, some developers also deeply experienced the development process based on Ascend AI computing power through the cloud laboratory under the guidance of Huawei Ascend AI engineers. This technology open day event left a deep impression on the developers.
