On July 29, 2020, the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition 2020 (Tianjin Division) briefing session was successfully held at the Holiday Inn Tianjin Aqua City, under the guidance of the Tianjin Information Technology Application Innovation Industry (Talent) Alliance, co-organized by the Tianjin Kunpeng Computing Industry Alliance and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and hosted by the Tianjin Kunpeng Ecological Innovation Center.

In order to implement the strategic deployment of the Tianjin Municipal Government for the development of the Kunpeng industry and accelerate the incubation of Kunpeng industry solutions, the Tianjin Kunpeng Ecosystem Innovation Center and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. jointly launched the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition for the Tianjin ICT industry. They hope to stimulate innovation potential, cultivate the research and development capabilities such as software adaptation, migration, software development, and solution incubation based on the Kunpeng ecosystem required for the development of the Kunpeng industry, promote the development of Tianjin's computing industry, and support the digital transformation and upgrading of Tianjin's government and enterprise industries.

At the meeting, the hot issues that the contestants were concerned about during the early stage of the competition were answered one by one. The Q&A session included the specific arrangements of the Tianjin competition area, the specific process of Kunpeng certification, the evaluation criteria for technical certification, and how to complete the test report with higher quality. The Kunpeng Partner Program launched by Huawei in the Kunpeng computing field around the TaiShan series of servers was also shared, encouraging developers and start-up teams to join the Kunpeng ecosystem, share business opportunities and interests with partners by integrating Huawei's technology and brand resources, and help partners and Huawei jointly create joint solutions based on Kunpeng to promote business success.

The meeting introduced the Kunpeng Lingyun certification process and the Kunpeng Lingyun Partner Program launched by Huawei Cloud around Kunpeng cloud services (including public cloud, private cloud, and desktop cloud). Huawei Cloud provides partners with comprehensive support in training, technology, marketing, and business, helping partners to develop and transplant applications based on Huawei Cloud Kunpeng cloud services, and opening up a Kunpeng zone in the cloud market to help partners realize their business.

The meeting also analyzed some methods of Makefile dependency analysis, pom dependency analysis, xml and setup.py dependency analysis involved in the Kunpeng software migration process, summarized general migration ideas, shared practical cases, and gave actual migration demonstrations based on the cases.

In 2019, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee clearly stated that the full domestic substitution should be completed within three years. Major domestic software and hardware companies have been given the responsibility and mission of becoming an information power in the new era. Especially under the current severe international situation, industrial development is bound to be faster and faster. It is understood that Kunpeng has been adapting since its birth and has supported all domestic operating systems. Tianjin's Kylin operating system and the platform software of Tianjin's large database manufacturers have been adapted. What needs to be done now is to adapt the upper-level application software based on the Kunpeng-based environment to provide customers with scenarios and solutions for the national domestic environment.
