In order to help more ICT industry practitioners in Beijing understand the hotly launched "Maker Beijing 2020 Kunpeng Application Innovation Special Competition" and select better entries from the entire competition, the Maker Beijing 2020 Kunpeng Application Innovation Special Competition Briefing Session will be launched online on time at 2:30 pm on July 28, 2020.

"Maker Beijing 2020" is an important part of the "Maker China" Small and Medium Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It is guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance, hosted by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, and Zhongguancun Science City Management Committee, and undertaken by Beijing Small and Medium Enterprises Service Center, Beijing Small and Medium Enterprises Public Service Platform, Beijing Venture Capital Innovation Service Alliance, Beijing Kunpeng Joint Innovation Center, and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Beijing Fengtai District Development Investment Co., Ltd.

In this competition, Beijing Kunpeng Joint Innovation Center aims to gather ecological partners, provide more clear implementation paths and methods for the innovative development and talent training of small and medium-sized enterprises based on the high-quality solutions of partners, and form a win-win benefit sharing mechanism. At the same time, Beijing Kunpeng Joint Innovation Center will strive to integrate resources from all parties, provide all-round help and support to makers in terms of entrepreneurial enterprise services and Kunpeng technology docking, actively build an innovative ecosystem for the Kunpeng industry, accelerate the construction of a 100 billion-level computing industry covering the entire industrial chain based on Kunpeng, and help Beijing build an industrial ecology of collaborative innovation, resource sharing, and integrated development between large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises.

In this competition, participating teams need to create software and hardware solutions for different scenarios based on Kunpeng computing technology, including Huawei Cloud Kunpeng cloud services, Kunpeng motherboards, Kunpeng servers and other products. This competition has designed five major topics, namely "Kunpeng Ecosystem: Enabling the Financial Industry", "Kunpeng Ecosystem: Enabling Digital Government", "ARM Native Innovative Applications", "Big Data Innovative Solutions" and open topics. Participating teams can choose one of the five topics to participate.

The briefing on July 28 will introduce the Beijing Kunpeng Joint Innovation Center and explain the rules of the Kunpeng Application Innovation Competition, such as the competition system, competition questions, and entry requirements.
