The popularization of 5G and the Internet of Things in the new infrastructure and the development of cloud and artificial intelligence technologies have jointly driven the explosive growth in demand for computing power. Computing power infrastructure such as data centers and intelligent computing centers require a new generation of 400GE large-scale data center networks; the packet loss rate of one thousandth of traditional data center networks will result in only 50% of AI computing power. Intelligent ultra-broadband: The industry's highest density 768*400GE, helping to provide massive computing power

Huawei CloudEngine 16800, a new generation of 400GE data center switches, has made technical breakthroughs in hardware in the fields of process, high-speed information transmission loss, and power consumption per Gbit, enabling a single machine to provide the industry's highest 768-port 400GE switching capacity; software has made technical breakthroughs in functions such as automated configuration, routing protocols, and intelligent data analysis, improving equipment integration and network visualization, meeting the needs of the new generation of data centers in the intelligent era for doubling computing power and ultra-large-scale networking. In scenarios such as computing power cloud, the new generation of 400GE large-scale networking reduces the complexity of business communications, bringing about a significant increase in computing power benefits.

At the same time, Huawei and the authoritative China Telecommunication Technology Laboratory jointly announced that Huawei's new generation flagship data center switch CloudEngine 16800, with 768 400GE ports in a full frame, passed the rigorous test of forwarding performance in serpentine networking. This is currently the largest 400GE test in the industry, fully demonstrating the industry-leading 400GE performance of Huawei CloudEngine 16800.

The new optical interface of Huawei's CloudEngine 16800 next-generation 400GE data center switch is based on technological breakthroughs in optical devices in multi-layer integrated circuits, signal processing intelligent optical engines, and intelligent fault prediction. It reduces the transmission energy consumption of 400GE optical modules by 15%, increases the transmission distance by 5 times, and actively identifies 90% of optical link risks, ensuring sustainable computing power.

Intelligent connectivity: The industry's new generation of 400GE data center switches with zero packet loss improves computing power by 27%

Huawei CloudEngine 16800, a new generation of 400GE data center switches, includes intelligent lossless algorithms to achieve zero packet loss in the network, which can improve data computing efficiency by 27% and data storage efficiency by 30%, ensuring service experience. At the same time, the new generation of intelligent lossless data center network integrates computing, storage, and service networks, reducing TCO by 30%. Currently, more than 100 data centers around the world have completed the deployment of zero packet loss intelligent lossless networks.

Intelligent O&M: Industry's first L3 data center autonomous driving network, reducing OPEX by 43%

To cope with the multiple-fold increase in data center scale brought about by 400GE deployment, Huawei's CloudEngine 16800 new-generation 400GE data center switch implements the industry's L3 data center full-lifecycle autonomous driving network based on new intelligent operation and maintenance. It also achieves early prediction of unknown faults with intelligent operation and maintenance capabilities of 1-minute fault perception, 3-minute fault location, and 5-minute fault repair. The automatic fault location rate is increased to 98%, reducing OPEX by 43%.
