my country's first 5G satellite communication test was successful, and the future is promising

Recently, the communication test of my country's first 5G satellite was successful. The communication capacity of this 5G satellite reached 10Gbps. This communication test was also conducted after it was in orbit for 30 days. The test verified the low-orbit Q/V/Ka band communication capability of this 5G satellite for the first time in China, and also proved my country's strength in 5G communication technology.

Low-orbit broadband satellite communication services can cover a very wide range and are basically not affected by different geographical environments on the surface. The "old, young, remote and poor" areas that were difficult to serve in the past can all be successfully connected to the Internet world. The success of the 5G satellite communication test is an important step in realizing a global space-ground integrated communication network, and it is also a key step in the development of my country's communication technology.

It is understood that the satellite was launched by the Chinese private company Galaxy Aerospace. On January 16, the first satellite was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket. Galaxy Aerospace successfully launched a low-orbit broadband communication satellite, which is the first case among private companies in related fields in my country. Galaxy Aerospace has also become an outstanding contributor to the development of China's "space Internet".

It is worth noting that the founder of Galaxy Aerospace is Xu Ming, the technical director of 360, and Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, is an investor in the company. Galaxy Aerospace developed the world's first high-frequency millimeter wave band communication satellite in just one year, which shows that the company has put a lot of effort into the research and development of satellites.
