Huawei officially launches the "WoTu Digital Platform" to bring together trillion-level digital industries

During HUAWEI CONNECT 2019, Huawei officially released the digital platform reference architecture and the new brand name "Wo Tu" for the enterprise market. Huawei's Wo Tu digital platform is built on cloud infrastructure, integrating multiple new ICT capabilities such as IoT, AI, big data, video, converged communications, and GIS, to achieve deep integration of technology and business, IT and OT, and diversified data. "Wo Tu" not only carries Huawei's expectations for the digital platform - to become the foundation of the digital world, but also contains the unique characteristics of Huawei's digital platform, namely accumulation, integration, openness and efficiency. Huawei also focused on the implementation and large-scale commercial use cases of the Wo Tu digital platform in multiple industry scenarios such as smart cities, smart parks, and smart transportation, and announced that it would provide a variety of development support for partners to lower the development threshold and strengthen ecological operations.

Based on its own digital transformation practices, Huawei has taken the lead in building scenario-oriented smart park solutions based on the WoTu digital platform to redefine the park. The park solution based on the WoTu digital platform is fully connected, fully integrated, and fully open. Huawei and Shenzhen Metro Group have pioneered joint innovation based on the WoTu digital platform, which has brought a series of obvious business values. The digital platform breaks the chimney-style IT architecture and deeply integrates key business scenarios with emerging technologies, which has increased the utilization rate of Shenzhen Metro Group's IT resources by 50% and security by 80%. Huawei's first AirFlash5G vehicle-to-ground dump solution, through the integration of ICT technology, can achieve high-speed wireless communication of more than 1.5Gbps, increase efficiency by 13 times, and do not require manual intervention throughout the process, which comprehensively improves equipment operation safety and production efficiency. With ubiquitous connectivity and digital platforms as the foundation, upper-level intelligent scene applications can be quickly superimposed, the launch cycle of new services is greatly shortened, and operational efficiency is greatly improved.
