4G network secretly slows down to protect 5G? You really wronged them

Recently, the issue of 4G network speed reduction has caused a lot of controversy. Many people point the finger at the operators, believing that the operators deliberately reduce the 4G network speed in order to ensure the 5G network. Regarding this issue, China Unicom denied it and said that it would not reduce the 4G network speed, but would increase the network speed instead.

Regarding the 4G speed reduction, some people pointed out that the reason for the 4G network speed reduction is related to the unlimited data service. Under the tariff standard of the unlimited data package, everyone uses data freely. With the surge in smartphone data traffic, the base station can no longer keep up, so everyone slows down together.

China already has enough 4G base stations. It is not that operators have stopped construction and turned their attention to 5G, but the bandwidth and coverage of 4G technology are limited, and we have now reached the limit.

To solve the problem of 4G reaching its limit, we need to accelerate the construction of 5G in some core business districts such as CBD. This is the fundamental solution.
