1. The overall network covers five businesses including access control, monitoring, television, wired office, and wireless coverage, and each business remains isolated;

2. Coverage: The overall coverage is divided into two major areas, namely the office area and the marketing area. The office area is a common office environment that needs to meet the Internet access needs of about 300 terminals. It is relatively scattered and has a low density of personnel and terminals.

3. The density of personnel and terminals in the marketing area is high. There are dozens of office computers and more than 320 marketing terminals in 100 square meters, all of which are wirelessly connected, providing ultra-high density coverage;

4. All wireless APs are centrally powered by PoE, managed by AC controllers, with unified SSID and password distribution and fast signal switching;

5. The wireless coverage in high-density areas is built separately from the office network, which requires good stability, guaranteed bandwidth and low latency;

6. The entire network requires easy management, easy troubleshooting, and timely after-sales response.

Program Details

Different VLANs are divided for different services in the network to achieve service isolation. Therefore, the three-layer Gigabit switch VS5728G is selected as the core aggregation switch, which also serves as a DHCP server to allocate IP addresses to terminals;

· Select 7 VS1024S as access switches for access control, monitoring, and office use, and 2 VS1224G as access switches for TV services;

· For wireless coverage in the office area, a high-power dual-band AP, VP750, is selected for full coverage, a PoE power supply switch VS5326GP is selected for centralized power supply, and a VEC50 integrated gateway is selected to centrally manage all APs and realize the unified distribution of SSID signals; VEC50 has a capacity of 350 devices and can manage 150 APs, fully meeting the customer's device and AP management needs;

· Aiming at the high-density wireless coverage in the marketing environment, the high-power dual-band AP in the Feiyuxing QuanWiFi series, AP313-CH, was selected for full regional coverage. AP313-CH uses the Qualcomm chip solution from the United States, which has strong performance, fast rate, large bandwidth and other advantages, and is particularly suitable for high-density wireless coverage environments. All APs are centrally powered by a manageable PoE power supply switch VS5326GP;

In view of the density of wireless coverage terminals in the marketing environment, AC1000 from the QuanWiFi series is specially selected as the integrated gateway, which can carry 1,000 devices and manage 512 APs. It also has a cloud management platform for remote network management, making management more convenient and faster.

Achieve results

During project implementation and debugging, in an office environment, all APs are uniformly configured and managed in VEC50. By entering the location in the search bar, you can easily find the information of APs located in each building, each floor, and each point, including online status, number of access terminals, channel acquisition, etc., which realizes the centralized management of APs, which is simple and convenient. Different VLANs are divided for different services on VS5728G to achieve relative isolation of different services, and IP addresses are allocated downward as a DHCP server.

In a high-density marketing environment, there are nearly 400 terminals in an area of ​​100 square meters. For this area, a detailed site survey was conducted. Through the detection of parameters such as signal coverage range and strength, the AP positions were reasonably arranged. Three APs were deployed on the ceiling and three APs were deployed under the desk. The W-shaped three-dimensional deployment of APs was implemented, and the wireless transmission power was reduced to reduce the signal-to-noise ratio; the wireless channel was adjusted to reduce conflicts; the access terminal restrictions were modified to achieve an average number of access terminals for each AP to achieve a certain load sharing;

According to customer tests, in a high-density environment, more than 320 marketing terminals in the marketing area were connected to the wireless network at the same time. Through the central control computer, the data transmission delay met the requirements, the number of AP access terminals was relatively even, and the stability was good, which was recognized by customers!
