Huawei has entered Jiangmen to help build a smart city and big data industry chain

Recently, Jiangmen Municipal People's Government, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Zhongzheng Urban Development Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. signed a tripartite cooperation framework agreement at the Huawei (Changsha) China Ecological Partner Conference to jointly promote the development and construction of our city's smart city and big data industries, and fully support Jiangmen in building an information hub city in the west of the Pearl River. Deputy Mayor Xu Xiaoxiong, Huawei China Regional President Peng Zhongyang, and Zhongzheng Company Executive General Manager Ji Dong attended the signing ceremony.

At the event, Xu Xiaoxiong signed the contract on behalf of the municipal government. Leaders from the High-tech Zone (Jianghai District), Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Municipal Network Information Coordination Bureau and other units attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, Huawei and China Securities Corporation will settle in Jiangmen National Hi-Tech Zone to build cloud computing, big data centers (Zhuxi Data Factory) and a joint innovation center (Smart City Research Institute) to assist Jiangmen City in building a smart city and big data industry chain. All parties will jointly develop smart cities and big data industries.

In this cooperation, Huawei will use its world-leading and domestically-strongest information and communication technology to support the construction of Jiangmen's smart city and big data industry, serve Jiangmen's transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and assist Jiangmen in building a national smart city pilot. China Securities will provide comprehensive investment and financing solutions for Jiangmen's smart city construction.
