Huawei focuses on intelligent scenarios in five major industries and releases new products in the F5G-A series

During Huawei Connect 2024, the All-Optical Summit with the theme of "Accelerating F5G-A, Win-win Industry Intelligence" was successfully held. At the conference, Huawei launched the F5G-A (F 5G Advanced ) series of new products around the "three advances and three retreats" to accelerate industry intelligence.

Chen Banghua, President of Huawei's Optical Product Line, pointed out at the meeting that the next decade will be a decade of intelligence, and the optical industry will also usher in new opportunities of "three advances and three retreats": "optical advance and copper retreat" for home and campus networks, moving towards all-optical 10G; "optical advance and electric retreat" for communication networks in industries such as power and transportation , accelerating the evolution of S DH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) to fg OTN (fine-grained optical transport network); manual on-site operations in scenarios such as oil and gas pipeline inspection and perimeter protection will be upgraded to intelligent remote operations , and "optical advance and people retreat" will be driven by integrated perception technologies such as vision and fiber optic perception .

Chen Banghua, President of Huawei's Optical Product Line, delivered a keynote speech

Focusing on the "Three Advances and Three Retreats", Huawei continues to create innovative products and solutions:

In the era of "optical fiber replacing copper", Huawei released the new 10G Wi-Fi 7 optical terminal Huawei Starlight EN8145 for home network scenarios , helping ISPs upgrade from 100M to 1G, allowing users to enjoy the ultimate Wi-Fi experience and high-speed access to home storage. For campus scenarios such as classrooms and offices , Huawei's F5G All-Optical Campus 2.0 solution has been completely upgraded, launching the industry's first high-density ultra-10G optical terminal Huawei Starlight P 884E , achieving 25Gbps coverage; for hospitals, hotels, and education network scenarios, four Huawei Starlight series Wi-Fi 7 optical terminals and optical gateways such as W617E have been released to create a new standard for Wi-Fi 7 digital campuses.

In the "optical input and electrical output output" scenario, Huawei released the industry's first end-to-end optical transmission product portfolio OptiXtrans E6600/9600 that supports the fgOTN standard for communication network scenarios in the power, transportation and other industries, building a solid and reliable communication network for the power, transportation and other industries. In the scenario of smart power distribution and utilization, Huawei released the high-speed power line carrier communication HPLC dual-mode solution, with a meter collection success rate of 99.9%, and the collection efficiency of 300 households increased from 15 minutes to 1 minute, helping the power grid to "collect data more stably" and "collect data faster" , and accelerating the development of digitalization of power.

At the same time, Huawei has extended the "optical in, electrical out" strategy from the wide area network to the data center. For ultra-large-scale intelligent computing clusters, in order to solve the problems of difficult expansion of traditional networks and easy failure of optical modules leading to reduced reliability, Huawei has released the data center all-optical switch OptiXtrans DC808 , which introduces all-optical cross-connect OXC technology into the data center network, supports elastic expansion of networking capabilities, eliminates the need for optical modules, reduces the failure rate by 20 % , and supports long-term smooth evolution from 400G to 1.6T regardless of the rate.

In the context of "light enters and people retreat", Huawei released the OptiXsense ES100 , an intelligent gas leak detection product based on spectral sensing technology, for urban gas detection scenarios . Compared with traditional solutions, the accuracy is improved by 40%, the life is increased by 50%, and the battery does not need to be replaced for three years. The product has been tested in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone for half a year, and its accuracy and reliability have been fully verified.

Huawei hopes to work with global customers and partners to embrace the new opportunities of "three advances and three retreats", accelerate the industry's intelligent transformation, and win together in the intelligent era!
