Ruishu Information AI team won the A-level championship in cybersecurity at the "3rd China Artificial Intelligence Competition"

Recently, at the "3rd China Artificial Intelligence Competition" jointly organized by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration of Radio and Television, and the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, the AI ​​team from Ruishu Information won the A-level championship in the network security direction of the competition.

The theme of this year's China Artificial Intelligence Competition is "Integrating Innovation and Wisdom, Competition Promotes Development". The core purpose is to promote domestic artificial intelligence technology innovation, accelerate artificial intelligence empowerment of cyberspace governance, build an industry collaboration and talent training platform, and further create an artificial intelligence benchmark city, thereby promoting the development of China's artificial intelligence industry to a new level. The competition focuses on three major directions: algorithm governance, deep fake detection, and network security. The competition recruits teams from the whole society and attracts more than 400 people from 164 teams of artificial intelligence companies, universities, and scientific research institutions at home and abroad.

In the field of network security, the topic of this competition is "Detecting whether file data is a Webshell file that can be used for network attacks". The team with the highest total score and sub-score will receive an A-level award certificate issued by the competition officials.

In recent years, Webshell has been widely used by attackers due to its confidentiality, script-based, flexible and powerful features. Improving Webshell detection and identification capabilities can effectively block many potential attacks and greatly improve network security. Therefore, Webshell detection, as a key point of enterprise security defense, has become an important function of enterprise Web security and host security systems, and has also become a major indicator of the capabilities of network security vendors.

In response to this, the Ruishu Information AI team adopted a fusion deep learning model that combines the two models, using a deep neural network to process static features and a recurrent neural network to process dynamic time series features of script compilation. In terms of data, more valid data sets were collected and sorted to increase the comprehensiveness of training samples and improve model effects. In the end, Ruishu Information firmly took the top spot with a total score of 0.980181049 (full score 1), winning the A-level championship in the field of network security.

The participating team members are undergraduate and master students from top domestic universities such as Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Southwest University.
