Huawei's Lu Yiquan: Premium Private Line 2.0 creates ubiquitous quality connections

Based on this, Huawei has launched a series of solutions to promote OTN quality private lines into the 2.0 era.

Breaking through business boundaries with "private network + cloud network": Huawei launched the optical slice private network (OVPN) solution, which can achieve hard isolation of resources in multiple dimensions such as wavelength, sub-wavelength, and OSU, flexibly adapt to various industry demands, and realize the transformation from selling private lines to selling private networks. At the same time, through cloud-network management and control collaboration, it provides one-stop cloud-network services, transforming OTN private lines from point-to-point private lines to point-to-multi-cloud cloud-network connections, and realizing "entering the network means entering the cloud". Huawei is also committed to creating three 1ms latency circles of edge-to-edge, edge-to-cloud, and cloud-to-cloud through all-optical networks, so as to achieve "one network, one millisecond, reaching anywhere".

Breaking through user boundaries with "Liquid OTN": Due to the technical characteristics of OTN itself, operators generally only provide high-quality OTN private lines to high-value enterprises with large bandwidth demands. Huawei launched Liquid OTN technology, which refines the bandwidth granularity from 1Gbps to 2Mbps, and achieves a 100-fold increase in the number of network connections, thereby bringing OTN quality private lines to a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises at a better cost, allowing OTN private line users to be infinitely extended.

Breaking through the experience boundary with "full process automation": Introducing the AI-based network cloud engine iMaster NCE to achieve centralized network control, real-time perception of network dynamics, and then support the full process automation of service issuance and network operation and maintenance, and achieve daily issuance of dedicated lines; at the same time, open a self-service portal, enterprise users can self-order, self-check SLA performance, self-speed, etc., to improve user experience perception by 10 times. Huawei has currently cooperated and verified with more than 10 mainstream OSS vendors in the industry, and has accumulated rich experience in the field of BSS/OSS integration.

Breaking through business boundaries with "differentiated services": The era of premium private lines 2.0 will create richer commercial monetization methods with differentiated value-added services. OTN private lines themselves have millisecond-level latency guaranteed by E2E, and combined with iMaster NCE, real-time visualization of private line latency is achieved, gaining recognition from industries such as securities and OTT with differentiated low latency. At the same time, based on the failure rates of various components such as equipment, boards, and optical fibers, the availability of OTN private lines can be accurately calculated, and differentiated availability can be used to meet the different demands of thousands of industries.
