The three major operators released their operating data for December

China Telecom's mobile user base increased by 490,000 in December 2021, totaling 372.43 million. Among them, the number of 5G package users increased by 9.04 million, totaling 187.80 million. The number of wired broadband users increased by 390,000 in the same month, totaling 169.71 million.

In December 2021, China Mobile's mobile business had a net increase of 109,000 customers, bringing the total number of customers to 956.892 million; the net increase in wired broadband business customers was -459,000, bringing the total number of customers to 240.106 million.

In December 2021, China Unicom and its subsidiaries had a net decrease of 225,000 mobile bill users, reaching a total of 317.115 million; the net increase in 5G package users in December was 5.384 million, reaching a total of 154.928 million; the net increase in fixed-line broadband users was 212,000 in December, reaching a total of 95.046 million.
