Wu Lianfeng, Vice President of IDC China, shared with everyone how to build a data-driven enterprise in his speech. He pointed out that data-driven enterprises need to have three capabilities: the ability to obtain and govern data; the ability to mine and display data; and the ability to further productize data. Yang Yang, the director of Fanruan Data Application Research Institute, shared his views on the new kinetic energy of data. Regarding the physical concept of kinetic energy, Yang Yang likened the data of an enterprise to an object. Enterprises use decision-making, business, IT and other means to make data flow and speed up, giving data more kinetic energy. Yang Yang combined the actual situation of enterprise BI construction and summarized the five major dilemmas of resource waste in enterprise BI projects:

First, there is the demand dilemma. It is unclear what problems BI needs to solve and what scenarios it should be implemented in.

Second, the tool dilemma: When selecting tools, people blindly follow the guidance of some manufacturers, or do not sort out the tools clearly, which leads to many barriers when selecting tools.

Fourth, project difficulties. During the data construction process, it is necessary to initiate project promotion. Lack of direction guidance will lead to slow project progress and frequent rework.

Then, Yang Yang answered the above dilemma based on the construction of Fanruan BI project.
