Denodo Named a Leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools for the Second Consecutive Year

Beijing, September 7, 2021 - Denodo, a leader in data virtualization, today announced that Gartner® has once again positioned the company as a "Leader" in its 2021 Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools. The report further states, “Leaders have been improving their metadata capabilities by introducing some highly dynamic optimization and advanced design assistance capabilities. They have been expanding their capabilities to allow machine learning on this active metadata to assist developers with varying degrees of support and automation in integration design and implementation. Leaders are good at providing tools that can support both hybrid and multi-cloud integration options, eliminating data silos that exist on-premises and in multi-cloud ecosystems.”

Denodo pioneered data virtualization more than 20 years ago and has continuously enhanced its capabilities to enable customers to effectively manage distributed architectures such as logical data warehouses, data fabrics, and data grids. The latest 8.0 version of Denodo Platform further advances Denodo's long-standing focus on data virtualization, enabling agile data integration and delivery through the latest innovations such as AI/machine learning-driven intelligent query acceleration, automated secure cloud data integration, and a unified user experience brought by integrated active data catalogs and data science notebooks.

“I am delighted to see Denodo once again recognized in the Leaders quadrant for its ability to execute and completeness of vision,” said Ravi Shankar, SVP and CMO at Denodo. “It is truly gratifying to see our ability to execute and vision for data integration fully align with Gartner’s criteria for a Leader, in our view. Recent Gartner report results show that Denodo had the second highest revenue growth in 2020 among the top 10 vendors in the global data integration tools market.1 Additionally, Denodo was one of two vendors to receive a Customers’ Choice award in the 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer: Data Integration Tools. This ability to execute, combined with our vision for a logical data fabric, coupled with advanced data virtualization, AI/ML and hybrid/multi-cloud capabilities, makes the Denodo Platform ready to be the future of data integration and data management.”
