In February, the tribe shared the news that edgeNAT had put a cabinet in Coresite in Los Angeles. Today, I was looking through the inventory in my hands. It happened that I bought a Seattle host from edgeNAT at the end of 2020 and never lost it. I also moved it to Los Angeles in February. It just so happens that I have nothing to do and post the relevant information about the merchant’s Los Angeles 4837-line dual-isp host for everyone to see how edgeNAT is for your reference.

Host Configuration

Because I bought the special package in 2020, the configuration is a little different from the current regular package. The test VPS configuration is Gold6133 quad-core, 4GB memory, 20GB hard disk, 200M port bandwidth, and the installed operating system is CentOS7.6 64bit pure version

Outbound routing test

The outbound network of the three networks is similar. The backbone network of China Telecom connects Cogent to the computer room.

AS4837 line is the best for China Unicom, and the delay is much lower than that of China Telecom.

China Mobile also logged in from San Jose and then transferred to the Los Angeles data center through Cogent

Latency Test

The latency of US VPS is still not comparable to that of Hong Kong, but the bandwidth is larger than that of Hong Kong. The best AS4837 line in China is China Unicom, and China Mobile is the highest. Here we choose 434 nodes in mainland China and North America for testing.

Friends who need dual ISP hosts can consider it. AS4837 lines are slightly cheaper than AS9929 or CN2 GIA, and have larger bandwidth, but the quality of domestic access to AS4837 is inferior to the latter two. In addition to US VPS, edgeNAT also has Korean native IP options. The merchant also upgraded the bandwidth of Korean native IP VPS hosts in April.
