Three major operators: New York Stock Exchange maintains delisting decision

On the evening of May 7, the three major operators announced that the New York Stock Exchange Committee upheld the decision of the New York Stock Exchange regulatory department to restart the delisting process of the company's American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). It is expected that the New York Stock Exchange will submit Form 25 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to cancel the listing and registration (delisting) of the company's American Depositary Receipts.

Earlier, on January 6, Eastern Time, the New York Stock Exchange issued an announcement that it would re-promote the delisting of China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the company and its shareholders, the three major operators submitted written requests to the New York Stock Exchange on January 20, requesting the New York Stock Exchange Committee to review the decision. On May 6, 2021, the committee upheld the decision.

The three major operators expect that the New York Stock Exchange will file Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to delist and register the Company's American Depositary Shares, and will provide a copy to the Company. Prior to this, the New York Stock Exchange will announce its final decision to delist the Company's American Depositary Shares by issuing a press release and posting a notice on its website until the delisting takes effect. In accordance with the rules of the U.S. Securities Exchange Act, the delisting of the Company's American Depositary Shares will take effect 10 days after the filing of Form 25.
