The construction plan for next year is still being formulated. In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also mentioned that it will promote the forward-looking strategic layout of 6G.

At present, my country's network construction has made progress in both quantity and quality, building a solid foundation for the transformation and upgrading of the economy and society. Liu Liehong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at the report meeting that my country has built a relatively large 5G network in the world, with a total of 718,000 5G base stations built and 330,000 5G base stations jointly built and shared. Regarding the construction of 5G networks next year, there are reports that the speed will be accelerated across the board, and it is expected that more than 1 million new 5G base stations will be built across the country. In response to this statement, Liu Duo, President of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, responded: "As far as we know, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is working with relevant operators to formulate plans for next year. Specific data has not yet been released. The construction of 5G networks must still be steadily advanced in accordance with the principle of moderate advancement, closely following the needs of different scenarios, objectively analyzing and studying, and building on demand."

In terms of integrated applications, 5G has entered a critical stage of application innovation. The coordinated promotion of multiple entities such as basic telecommunications, equipment manufacturing, and vertical industries is accelerating. This year, there are more than 4,200 projects participating in the Bloom Cup, and more than 30% of the projects have entered the commercial implementation stage. The 5G+Industrial Internet "512 Project" is being pragmatically promoted, with more than 1,100 related projects under construction. Cao Jiguang, deputy director of the Institute of Technology and Standards of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, revealed the progress of 5G industrial module research and development and industrialization: "After our investigation, the current industrial landscape of 5G industrial modules has been initially presented. At present, more than 10 companies in China are developing and producing 5G industrial modules. Based on these industrial modules, there have also been some 5G AGV cars, 5G drones, and some terminal devices based on 5G CPE networking."

Next, CAICT will promote the acceleration of 5G infrastructure construction; continue to explore the integration and innovation of 5G+Industrial Internet in accordance with the ideas of technology research and development, scenario adaptation, system integration, and model innovation; focus on enhancing the industry's supply capacity; optimize the industry's innovation and development environment, and promote the long-term development of 5G+Industrial Internet. Liu Liehong also mentioned the promotion of the forward-looking strategic layout of 6G. He said: "In the next step, CAICT will continue to support the overall development of my country's industry and information technology in all aspects, promote the innovative development of 5G technology industry and the forward-looking strategic layout of 6G. Strengthen the construction of system platforms, and strengthen key tasks such as standard setting, industry monitoring, testing and certification, and international cooperation."

He said: "The service capacity of number portability has been continuously improved, with more than 17 million number portability users nationwide, and the overall success rate of number portability within one hour is above 99%. The crackdown on nuisance calls has been continuously strengthened, with more than 68 million users registered for the "reject call" anti-nuisance service, and more than 2.8 billion nuisance calls have been blocked according to user wishes."
