China 5G: I have 1G more than 4G, why do so many people still dislike me?

Introduction

After the rapid development of 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G, today, the "China 5G era" for product Internet and smart city applications is finally coming! But why, the expected applause did not come? 5G is very sad: I am obviously 1G more than 4G, why do so many people still dislike me?

2G = Green train

Slow, but it works.

As a young kid born in 1995, my first smartphone was given away as a gift when I topped up my phone bill. Yes, you read that right, I caught up with the era of giving away phones when you top up your phone bill! The first second I got the phone, I opened my QQ and started an "online romance" that was quite contemporary. At that time, we were using a 2G network and having a long-distance relationship...

What are you talking about? Well, let's continue to talk about 2G. In those days, if your mobile phone hardware was very powerful, you could browse the web without any problems, but the premise was that you didn't demand high quality pictures! If you could accept the 144P video at that time, the experience was still very good. Moreover, in the 2G era, it would not hinder our QQ communication at all!

3G = High-speed rail

Can meet basic needs and greatly improve travel quality

From green-skinned trains to high-speed trains, the commuting experience has reached another dimension! From 2G to 3G, very high-sounding terms such as "Internet of Everything", "telemedicine", and "autonomous driving" were also proposed at that time.

In 2009, through China Unicom, we officially entered the 3G era! The first batch of Internet-addicted teenagers who played PC games at that time must have had a very dreamy experience. After all, at that time, 3G directly reached 1m+, and there was no roaming fee!

4G = Hyperloop

In terms of user experience, it is a little faster than 3G.

Many people shouted loudly: 4G has changed our lives! Many Unicom users scoffed at it. Why? Because it was China's 2G to 4G, and it did not experience "real 3G". At the same time, it also caught up with the golden period of calling for speed increase and fee reduction!

Nowadays, videos and live broadcasts are extremely popular. If you ask me, those Internet celebrities should thank the policy, not the technology!

China Mobile is excited again! It has been promoting words like "telemedicine", "Internet of Everything", and "remote driving"! We are experiencing the results ourselves, so I won't go into details here.

5G=Vacuum Transmission

Official reports state that the speed of vacuum transmission is 100,000 kilometers per hour, but for some reason, the speed can only reach 10,000 kilometers per hour.

At the same time, the price is high and there are few sites. Many people desperately want to participate, but are discouraged by the price!

China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom are jumping up and down! They are done with it! It’s so uncomfortable! This won’t do. Our 5G is at the forefront of the world. As a "leading Chinese enterprise", we absolutely cannot allow no one to pay for it!

Maybe the authorities really think that netizens’ memories are only 7 seconds!

No, "telemedicine", "Internet of Everything", "autonomous driving" and "cloud XX" have appeared again!

Can the application scenarios called for by 5G really be realized in the short term?

In fact, the answer is obvious. The application scenarios that 5G wants to achieve have already failed:

  • Sony's 4K mobile phone was released three years ago, but the limit of human eyes is there. I don't know how many years it will take for the mainstream 1080P to be broken. What is the mainstream resolution now?
  • Many years ago, Facebook's app was built using web pages. The world's largest social networking site used the All In action to prove that the "cloud" can change everything. But what is the reality?

  • Chrome OS was once said to subvert various operating systems and to replace everything with just one browser. Where is it now?

What? You said I have no evidence. Why do you not believe in 5G? Actually, I also want to believe it. Really! I sent si

Call on Mr. Ren and use Mr. Ren’s words to save your life!

A celebrity once said: Saying that you reject 5G is equivalent to being mentally old, not accepting new things, and is politically incorrect.

Anyway, from my own perspective, from the green train to the high-speed rail to the super high-speed rail, and then to vacuum transmission, no one is unhappy, and no one does not want to take advantage of the rapid development of technology. It’s just that I am a pragmatist who focuses on authenticity and cost-effectiveness.

If my commuting costs are less than my salary, then why should I suffer the whole thing? If you want more people to like 5G and be willing to invest in it and pay for it, then first fill the holes dug in the 3G era!

end

We hope that at least one of the boasts made in the 3G era can be realized in the 5G era.

When 6G comes, we can brag about something else.

What about you? What is your attitude towards 5G?
