Yue Kun said in an interview with reporters that Huawei has been involved in the construction of public security informatization for a long time. As a leading ICT manufacturer, Huawei pays special attention to those basic platforms that "affect the whole body", especially major fields such as video cloud, police cloud big data, integrated command and smart transportation. Huawei hopes to help customers strengthen the construction of "one cloud, one pool, and one platform" and improve informatization capabilities from the aspects of "sensing, transmitting, managing, and using". He introduced that there are more than 8,000 systems in the national public security system. The reporter learned that Huawei's video cloud solution has been successfully launched in many cities in China. Taking Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province as an example, the video surveillance coverage of Changzhou Economic Development Zone was low in the past, and video images lacked management and sharing. In order to meet the needs of public security, environmental protection, urban management, water conservancy, safety supervision and other departments for resource sharing and in-depth application, Changzhou Economic Development Zone found Huawei and planned to deploy 3,100 cameras and 1,200 sets of multi-dimensional data collection to weave a dense video network and build a video cloud to support multiple business application systems such as portrait, vehicle, and multi-dimensional data correlation analysis.
Huawei has achieved "decoupling of software and hardware" and "decoupling of business and data" in the design of the Changzhou video cloud system architecture.
