The world is so big, thank you for visiting me!! If you follow me, you will be a little expert in the Internet, computers and mobile phones. How can we live in peace without wifi? When you are out and about, using your phone to use other people's wifi hotspots is called "helping others in an emergency", and I will turn a blind eye to it. But what's the matter with Lao Wang next door using our wifi every day?
1. How do others get access to your Wifi? First of all, as long as we install the Wifi*** key on our mobile phone, we can connect to other people's Wifi hotspots without their consent. The operation method is also very simple. Just install the APP, turn on the relevant permissions of the mobile phone, and click "One-click Connection". What's worse, after installing the mobile data recovery wizard on the phone, you can also view the password of the connected Wifi. Is this going to cause trouble? Of course, it takes strength for an expert to crack Wifi. They have to use a baby bottle and water drops to intercept data packets. It takes at least ten hours to do it. I bet a bag of spicy noodles that Mr. Wang next door doesn’t have such a high-tech cracking method. 2. What will happen if Wifi is hacked? 1. Slow down the Internet speed If your Wifi is hacked, your internet speed will be slower than a snail. It will lag in everything you do, including watching videos and ads. It will lag in games to the point that others don't want to team up with you. It will lag in WeChat chats to the point that you have no friends and can't even grab red envelopes! 2. Personal information stolen If your Wi-Fi is stolen, your personal information may also be stolen. The person who steals your Wi-Fi can steal your account information by monitoring the network. They can even threaten your terminal device and steal text messages, photos and other information, making you degenerate from a negative second generation to Sanmao's wanderings! 3. How to find out if your Wi-Fi is being hacked Simply finding that the network speed is slow is not enough to determine that you are being hacked. The most critical evidence is seeing unfamiliar devices connected to the network. After entering the router address, username and password in the browser, check the client list. If the number of connected devices does not match the actual number, or if unfamiliar devices appear, it proves that you are being hacked. 4. How to prevent Wifi from being hacked 1. Set a more complex password If your Wifi password is 123456, you are asking for trouble! Make your password as long as possible, don't make it too short, make it a long and majestic one! At the same time, the password should be a mixture of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and punctuation marks. Of course, you must remember to keep your password safe! 2. Don’t install Wifi hotspot cracking software Don't install those so-called Wifi cracking software on your mobile phone, so as to avoid sharing your home Wifi and others will not be able to connect to your Wifi through these software. 3. Modify the router's default IP The management address of the wireless router is generally set to "192.168.1.1" by default. We use the administrator account and password to log in to the device connected to this router. Then, we can change the default IP to "192.168.X.1", where X is between 0 and 255. Click Save after the change. ***Restart the router to complete the change. 4. Turn off router SSID broadcast If you turn off the SSID broadcast function of the router, others will not be able to search for your Wifi, let alone connect to your Wifi. Still, enter your router IP in the browser and log in, follow the "Wireless Settings--Basic Settings" operation, enter the settings interface, uncheck the "Turn on SSID Broadcast" function, then click "Save", and restart the router to take effect. |
