Ping An Technology and Huawei Sign Intelligent Network Joint Innovation Cooperation Agreement to Promote Digital Transformation in the Financial Industry

On April 18, at the 2018 Huawei Global Analyst Conference, Ping An Technology, an industry-leading technology company, and Huawei officially signed a joint innovation cooperation agreement. The two parties will leverage their respective advantages, join forces, and commit to joint innovation in intent-driven intelligent networks to promote the digital transformation of the financial industry.

Fang Guowei, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect of Ping An Technology, is looking forward to the deeper cooperation between the two parties in the future. He said: "Joint innovation is the key to meeting future challenges. We hope to seize the opportunities of Internet+, enhance the experience of Ping An users, and promote 'Technology for Finance, Finance for Life'. With the signing of this agreement, we have deepened our cooperation with Huawei. Through more joint innovation practices of intelligent and simplified networks, we will accelerate the digital transformation of the financial industry and lay a good foundation for the realization of Ping An Cloud and Smart City business strategies."

Zhong Kaisheng, President of Huawei's Switch and Enterprise Gateway Product Line, said: "As a leader and practitioner of domestic technology companies, Ping An Technology is very pleased with the joint innovation of the intent-driven intelligent network. Combining Ping An Technology's experience and advantages in "technology + Internet", our products and solutions will help Ping An Technology build a more intelligent, simplified, ultra-broadband, secure, and open intelligent network."

Huawei's intent-driven intelligent network is based on a fully cloudified network, introduces big data and AI technologies, and is driven by the user's business logic and business strategy intent to build an enterprise digital network centered on user experience, covering five major scenarios: enterprise campus, data center, branch interconnection, wide area network, and network security. In a more intelligent, minimalist, ultra-broadband, secure, and open way, the intelligent network brings the digital world to everyone, every family, and every organization, building an intelligent world where everything is connected.

At the press conference, the two parties also introduced the latest SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area Network) commercial cases. Through Huawei's SD-WAN Intelligent Interconnection Private Line Solution, Ping An launched AI customer service in the industry, using biometric authentication technologies such as face and voiceprint and big data matching to remotely verify customer identity information and achieve "online one-time business processing". The launch of AI customer service will largely solve the pain points of slow authentication and slow claims settlement in traditional insurance business, greatly improving users' insurance service experience.

Huawei's enterprise network has been widely used in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, accelerating the digital transformation of enterprises through the intelligent network of everything. So far, 197 of the Fortune 500 and 45 of the top 100 have chosen Huawei as their digital transformation partner.
