Jiang Wangcheng mentioned that 2017 is the start of large-scale commercial use of the Internet of Things. Huawei has solved key issues in large-scale commercial use through extensive project practices, and the prosperous industrial ecosystem has laid the foundation for the explosion of NB-IoT. However, the rapid expansion of the industry scale may lead to the explosion of a trillion-level market or the bursting of a bubble. Jiang Wangcheng pointed out that to realize the commercial value of the Internet of Things industry, the solution is to strengthen connections and deepen the industry.

To strengthen connectivity, we must first adapt to different IoT scenarios, continue to expand the NB-IoT industry, and meet the needs of large-scale deployment of narrowband IoT scenarios. We must also promote the commercial development of C-V2X and eMTC based on IoT scenario requirements such as mobility, transmission rate, and data volume, and expand the market space. In terms of overseas strategy, we will replicate and promote China's industrial development experience to Europe through three measures: building a local ecosystem, creating a global OpenLab to achieve joint innovation, and establishing a hosting center to accelerate commercial deployment, forming a demonstration effect, and expanding the global market.

Strengthening connections means making connections generate value. Due to the high complexity of integration, IoT solution development requires large investment and long service launch cycles, which affects service development and value realization. Huawei continues to make strategic investments to help companies quickly innovate and deploy services and accelerate industry development. Relying on the global deployment of Huawei Cloud, partners' businesses are rapidly expanding around the world. Huawei has introduced capabilities to operators to help them transform from selling connections to selling services.

On the basis of strengthening connectivity, Huawei has carried out pragmatic explorations in deepening its industry presence, and based on the fertile soil of Huawei's cloud, it has provided the industry with IoT industry solutions that integrate ICT capabilities. The Internet of Vehicles is Huawei's in-depth practice in the industry. The current automotive industry is ushering in industrial changes. Automakers urgently need to reach strategic cooperation with willing and capable ICT partners to jointly innovate and build solutions and seek survival and development in the transformation. Huawei has made key investments in the field of Internet of Vehicles and entered the Internet of Vehicles from the full range of ICT end-pipe-cloud. Huawei's car-connected cloud solution, including the car-connected cloud platform and the car-machine OS, helps automakers quickly build digital assets and smart travel services. The car-machine OS introduces Huawei's mobile phone ecosystem to form an integrated smart experience of "people-car-home". Huawei's C-V2X solution realizes the collaborative intelligence of people, cars, and roads, and promotes the evolution to intelligent transportation. France's Peugeot Citroen chose Huawei's car-connected cloud platform to build Internet of Vehicles services on top of connection management and device management. It values ​​Huawei Cloud's global deployment capabilities and integrated ICT solutions. "Huawei is the only company that can deliver ICT end-pipe-cloud solutions globally and has ICT industry leadership," the customer said. Huawei also signed a cooperation agreement with China FAW Group to cooperate in the Internet of Vehicles, Industrial Internet, joint innovation and other aspects. This will greatly deepen Huawei's understanding of the automotive industry and enable it to work with customers to innovate solutions that match the industry's value.
