At the press conference, the two sides demonstrated the three major achievements of recent joint innovation practices: Video 3.0, Tianyi Cloud and All-Optical Network. Video 3.0 has realized IPTV service channel switching in seconds, on-demand start in seconds, nine-screen director, four-screen simultaneous viewing, voice search and thousands of faces for thousands of people, and the audience felt the real service experience of China Telecom across the global network.

Tianyi Cloud, a public cloud jointly operated by China Telecom and Huawei, currently has an average monthly compound growth rate of more than 30%, and has served tens of thousands of large and medium-sized customers in the government and enterprises. China Telecom has positioned Tianyi Cloud as a unified platform and entrance for B2B services, and in 2018, it will build innovative solutions for key industries such as industrial manufacturing, transportation and logistics.

In terms of all-optical network cooperation, the two sides jointly opened the world's first commercial all-optical backbone network in the economically active middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Through the combination of ROADM, 100G ultra-long-haul, ASON and all-optical switching technologies, 100G connections between cities across provinces were opened in minutes, and the comprehensive network construction and operation costs were greatly reduced. The three major innovative achievements, as attempts at commercial joint innovation, laid the foundation for the BJIC Joint Innovation Center.
