Building a strong network nation, Inspur Cisco network helps government information construction

At the "Joining Inspur's Thinking and Innovating Network" strategy conference which just concluded, Zhang Haitao, general manager and CEO of Inspur Cisco, proposed the "three 100+" strategic goals for the company's future development, namely, to find 100 core city-level partners in 100 cities, establish more than 100 core customers, establish a foothold in China, and become a leader in the Chinese network market as soon as possible by setting goals for the first stage.

In fact, Inspur Cisco Network has already had experience in building government cloud at the prefecture and city level. Not long ago, Inspur Cisco Network worked with a prefecture-level government in Anhui Province to build an e-government cloud platform, using Inspur Cloud and Inspur high-end network products to build a smart city. The platform has been officially put into use recently. The establishment of the government cloud platform has greatly simplified the process of citizens' affairs, forming a new situation of "data running instead of people running errands" in the local area, truly allowing the boss to experience the new service model of "handling government affairs without leaving home", and at the same time, it also enables public services at all levels in prefectures and cities to be more accurate and efficient, so that citizens can benefit tangibly.

Inspur Cloud Platform enables government affairs to be interconnected

It is reported that the city has formulated a comprehensive cloud construction plan based on the investigation of nearly 100 enterprises and institutions, multiple business computer rooms, and more than 200 application systems and websites, among which the e-government cloud was built and put into use first. As the construction service provider of the city's overall informatization government cloud solution, Inspur provides powerful performance while ensuring extremely high stability and various advanced functional features, and builds an e-government cloud platform with unified planning, deployment, and operation. In the key data center network construction plan, Inspur Cisco Network has planned three key e-government cloud network areas.

The core switching area of the data center uses the current Inspur high-end switch CN series products and all other partitions to achieve connection and realize high-speed data forwarding on the cloud platform, focusing on processing performance, network virtualization applications and routing of each partition.

The external network area and the Internet area. The external network area mainly realizes the interconnection of various functional departments in the city, and the Internet area is the Internet exit of the entire data center, which releases various public services to the outside world and realizes remote maintenance functions. Whether it is the external network area or the Internet area, Inspur's high-end network products are used to segment the external access network, core network, and internal access network for the city's e-government cloud, and provide customized network products based on the different needs of each area for traffic and security control.

In the core computing node area, taking into account the centralized deployment of a large number of government services, Inspur further emphasized the performance requirements of network applications and the adaptability to virtualized applications of basic hardware resources when designing the network architecture.

The "three-step" cloud platform construction drives new ideas for economic development

The city has formulated a "three-step" plan for the development of informatization and e-government cloud, namely "business cloudification", "business integration" and "application innovation". The integration of big data and intelligent network applications have enabled the government and various public services to be delivered accurately and efficiently.

  • Business on the cloud: In order to realize the centralized utilization of the city's hardware resources and avoid duplicate construction and waste of resources, the computer rooms of many municipal units in the city have been relocated or built to the city's cloud computing data center, and the rapid and complete migration of data has been achieved on the "Fuxing on the Cloud" connected by Inspur Cisco network.
  • Business integration: The city has currently migrated nearly 100 application systems and websites to the cloud computing data center for unified management and maintenance, thus achieving unified management of the city's application systems.
  • Application innovation: Through business integration, more than 1 billion pieces of data are collected to form three basic databases: population database group, enterprise database group, and electronic certificate database group. Through customized network deployment ideas, a high-speed network channel is established for data applications.

The seemingly simple path of "going to the cloud" has enabled the local key development bank, which had long hovered around an average annual credit loan of 300-800 million yuan, to rapidly develop into an annual credit loan amount of 10 billion yuan and an actual loan of 7 billion yuan. While the loan growth has been maintained, the non-performing loan rate has been extremely low. The loan that used to take 7 working days to apply for now only takes 1-2 days to complete the review. The changes of this key development bank are a microcosm of the smart city. The application of the e-government cloud has brought good news to many local small and medium-sized enterprises: creating a more flexible and warm development environment for enterprises, providing better development opportunities and space.

Experience the smart city where "data runs instead of people running errands"

Through the gradual implementation of the city's cloud plan, we will better focus on and utilize the convenient advantages of data and the Internet to achieve "benefiting the people", "benefiting the government", "good governance" and "promoting economic development".

  • Benefiting the people: Through the construction of the cloud platform, local citizens have experienced the efficient and innovative services brought by informatization and big data in the field of people's livelihood. At present, with the help of data collaboration, the city allows companies to register companies. They can apply online without leaving home and enjoy the "free shipping service" of the government and postal express, which will collect and send relevant materials directly to their doorsteps.
  • Beneficial and good governance: We will use informatization to further realize government transparency and build public platforms to continuously improve the level of government management.
  • Promote economic development: In the future, the city will support more enterprises to move to the cloud, allowing them to transfer hardware, management, and business to the cloud platform, reduce the pressure on enterprise IT construction, and better focus on their own business development and innovation.

Leveraging the power of data and the Internet to achieve transformation of government functions

Under the guidance of the national "Internet + Government Affairs" strategy, various cities have successively made efforts to build informatization to promote government affairs reform, allowing more applications to be put on cloud platforms to benefit the people and promote economic development. Seizing the trend of big data and cloud computing, concentrating data resources and network resources, providing various new public services for enterprises and people in cities, promoting economic development, the transformation of government roles and functions, and building smart cities.

Since its establishment, Inspur Cisco Network has been actively implementing the development goal of "localization", helping to build "people-friendly" government affairs with first-class product technology services, making the complex e-government system network more accurate, fast and efficient. Inspur Cisco Network will be based in the Chinese market, increase R&D investment, make the government system more comfortable when carrying terminal services, build a sunny government cloud network, and help China achieve the great development goal of a network power.
