Compare Alipay and WeChat Pay in many aspects, which one do you prefer?

Don’t ask me why, I am very willful.

2. From the operational point of view

WeChat Pay transfers must be received, and will not be returned within 24 hours. Alipay can be used for direct transfers. After the transfer, the amount of WeChat Pay will be directly transferred to the change, and a handling fee (more than 1,000 yuan) will be required. After the Alipay transfer, the amount will be directly transferred to the balance, and will be transferred to Yu'e Bao the next day. Yu'e Bao will have interest.

3. From the perspective of user groups

Most of the users of Alipay and WeChat are from China. WeChat's current user base mainly comes from WeChat, while Alipay mainly comes from Tmall and Taobao. In addition, in the ranking of active APP users in the first half of this year, WeChat, QQ and Alipay ranked the top three. In the first half of the year, the number of active users of WeChat APP was always higher than that of Alipay, and it accounted for more than 20%. However, in China's third-party mobile payment transactions in the first half of this year, Alipay's market share was 53.8%, WeChat and QQ accounted for 40.3% in total, and others accounted for 5.9%.

This year, Alipay has been launched in Hong Kong, China and other places, and Alipay fever has also become popular in the United States, Australia and other places.

4. From online activities

1) Alipay has had a lot of online activities recently: for example, there are red envelopes for online payments from Sunday to Thursday, and the red envelopes can be doubled and used as cash, although the amount is not much.

2) Alipay is entering the European and American markets, and it is said that there are super discounts when paying with Alipay.

5. From the perspective of security

Alipay has a security insurance policy, and you can apply for compensation after theft. But it is worth noting that the compensation principle of security insurance is: compensation for theft, no compensation for fraud. I have been looking for WeChat's security insurance for a long time, but I can't find it. It seems that there is only an account security center, but no payment security center.

When Alipay was first launched, it was considered a "wallet", while WeChat was a social chat tool. WeChat Pay is only a part of the WeChat ecosystem, while Alipay is a payment tool. The two have different starting points and different essences. According to this trend, Alipay's payment scenarios will be broader than WeChat in the future, but WeChat's social software development prospects are better than Alipay.
