The 2017 Asia-Pacific CDN Summit was held in Beijing on April 12-13, 2017. He believes that being responsible for the company's brand and the industry chain is a return to the original intention.
Regarding CDN, a product for enterprises, he introduced it with three questions: Is it available? Is it easy to use? Is it enough? Tong Yongyue believes that these three aspects are the yardsticks for judging the pros and cons. For the CDN industry, the balanced proportion of stable architecture, complete functions, excellent performance, customer needs, the ability to respond quickly to services, and reasonable prices are important indicators for measuring a CDN company, just like the shape of a person, thin on top and wide on the bottom is a pear shape; wide on top and thin on the bottom is an apple shape; only when the upper and lower parts are balanced and coordinated can people see a healthy body shape, and the same is true for CDN companies. Now everyone emphasizes the price when doing marketing, which is not in line with the long-term development of the market. He emphasized that only by providing customers with high-quality services and reasonable prices can we return to the original intention. He has surveyed 20+ CTOs, and these CTOs also admitted that their price is not their only consideration factor, and what they care most about is the overall customer experience.
Tong Yongyue believes that there are many ways to provide high-quality services, reasonable prices, and overall help customers reduce costs. P2P+CDN is one of them.
